"The property was well placed and ideally suited to our needs. Unfortunately when sitting outside at the front there was a strong smell of sewage from the drains, we could only use the back area to sit out in, which was the parking area. The accommodation was not very clean and was cluttered with owner’s belongings. We slept on the bed settee due to small double bed in bedroom (my husband is a tall man). "Located in a pleasant area close to Saint Jean De Monts and walking distance of a village. The pool was great. Owners friendly and helpful. It could be so much better if the gite we stayed in didn't have such a problem with damp/humidity. Our gite (3 bedroom Poule D'Eaux) was in need of maintenance. Other properties on the site may be better as it seems they are renovating."

"When we arrived we were greeted by a happy, smiling member of staff who promptly checked us in and then proceeded to inform us about the hotel's various facilities and where to go in Les Sables d'Olonne. The hotel itself was only about a year old at the time of our visit and was well maintained. We have nothing negative to say about The Hotel Vertime!"

"A very popular hotel for sure with spacious rooms, great Wifi, and a lovely pool, jacuzzi, sun lounger area. The reception and staff were excellent and this hotel deserves its high review rating. Plenty of secure parking which is a must for me. There is a restaurant on site for continental breakfast and main meals but we did not use so not able to rate. The location means transport is required but it should be mentioned there are excellent cycle paths adjacent to the road. "
