"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

"Lovely modern hotel in a quiet spot but by a restaurant which you got a discount in. Very clean and staff were friendly, WiFi worked well and there was secured parking. Would definitely recommend."

"Very nice hotel. Way better than what a US customer thinks of a Best Western. Central location and nice facilities (free parking was very convenient - right up front)"

"Will stay there again."

"We loved our stay here! It is in a lovely town full of little shops and restaurants. Right by a castle. We upgraded and got a beautiful view of the castle with a balcony. Nice pool. You do need to make up your bed, bring extra toilet paper and tidy up before you go! Friendly staff we encountered and perfect location to visit all the chateaus in the Loire Valley."

"My wife and I enjoyed our 5 night stay in Poignardiere so much! Lovely place, beautiful garden with impressive trees and fine swimmingpool. Excellent service, such nice owners! We will sure come back! Hans and Marlou from NL."

"The staff and location and a large room and bed."

"Lieu très agréable, propriétaire au top, et toujours là, quoi que vous ayez besoin, petit déjeuner génial ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir."

"This accommodation is set in a beautiful and peaceful area, close to picturesque villages of the loire valley Fresh homemade breakfast also included local farm produce, very nice. The hosts were very welcoming and the room was spacious and comfortable."

"Tout est parfait et attentionné.Petit déjeuner compris bien copieux, tartinable maison. Adresse à conserver. Merci aux Hôtes "

"Enthusiastic and helpful couple running a pleasant b&b. They had beer, they had pizza and sandwiches which was all that was on offer in a village in which both bars had closed down. Fine for an overnight stop though."

"Très grande salle de bain mais malheureusement une douche beaucoup trop petite, Pour le petit déjeuner loin d’être top pain dur et mou espace café à revoir...."

"Stunning - beautiful Chateau and grounds. Lovely pool and breakfast."

"Accueil du soir et du matin très sympa. Très beau papier peint.un grand merci"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The pool is great and the place is really quiet - we slept really well. The owner / manager was really accommodating; she gave us eggs for breakfast, let us check out a bit later and extended the pool hours. The Chenonceau suite is very large and can accommodate a family with kids or a couple with lots of luggage!"

"I cannot say enough good things about our stay. It is beautifully decorated and in a wonderful location for enjoying the Loire Valley. Alex goes above and beyond. The breakfast was the best we ever had."

"Clean, quiet, safe"

"Chambre et salle de bain très propre. Un accueil chaleureux et un petit déjeuner avec gâteau maison excellent"

"Cleanliness and size of the of the bedroom were superb. Breakfast was great also."

"L'arrivée chez Michel et Didier s'est faite très facilement lors de notre circuit à vélo sur les châteaux de la Loire. L'hébergement était très propre (roulotte verte) et très fonctionnel. Et surtout au calme. L'accès aux sanitaires et à la cuisine également. Nos hôtes ont été conviviaux et avenants. Nous avons échangé avec Didier qui nous a conseillé un resto. A recommander."
