Family Friendly Apartment with Balcony and Stunning Mountain Views
- 2 min. walk to lift, well equipped, self catering apartment in a privately owned block. It is south facing with stunning views of the mountain and main ski area from the bedroom, lounge and balcony. It is situated just outside the main centre of La Grande Terche, overlooking the piste down to the tele-cabin which is 2 mins walk away, with great restaurants and bars, run by friendly folk right on the doorstep. The ski area is served by one main tele-cabin which takes you up to the other chair lifts.It is quieter than the close-by resorts of Morzine (5km), Les Gets (10km and Avoriaz (8km). There is plenty of skiing for one week on this home resort for a beginner or intermediate, ski kindergarten of over 3's is 1 minutes walk away(recommended) The is also the French ski school here providing lessons to suite your needs.
It is also enjoyable in the Summer, with some lovely walks and waterfalls to see. The lake at Montriand is amazingly warm for a mountain lake and is a good place to swim, paddleboard or just have fun in the water.
The small resort of La Grande Terche has a mountain bike practice circuit and there is also an area for playing pétanque (boules).

Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
The bath, basin and toilet should be left clean, cleaning materials can be found in the blue bowl on the shelf behind the toilet. Please leave at least 1 - 2 rolls of toilet paper.
Clean kitchen area and glasses, crockery and cutlery are put away clean. The floors should be vacuumed and the lobby floor by the bunks moped.
Ensure the balcony door and bedroom window are closed.
Position the heaters to the ‘green *’ setting.
Leave the fridge door open, one of the small stools can be used to prop the door open.
Turn the electricity off, by turning the dial to ‘0’.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rules
Minimum rental is for 3 nights between 1st May to 1st November and minimum of 4 nights between 2nd November to 30th April.
Over the New Year period and from first Sat in February to the first Sat in March only Sat to Sat (or Sun to Sat) bookings will be accepted.
Linen and towels are not provided. If you did want the beds made up for you then there an extra charge of £15 for the double and £10 for single beds.
