"This charming stone farmhouse in the quiet area of Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt in the Dordogne is an absolute joy to stay at. It is so much more than just an ordinary gite. "De gastheren waren uiterst gastvrij, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het huis zelf mooi en rustig gelegen, prachtig uitzicht, ruim en geriefelijk (keuken, badkamer en sanitaire voorzieningen). "Beautiful house on the edge of the peaceful village of Tremolat. We enjoyed swimming in the river at the end of the garden - in July, the water was lovely and warm. The owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful during our stay, and the "user's guide" to the property was the most comprehensive and useful that I've seen in over 20 years of holiday rentals. Plenty of good restaurants within a 30 -40 minute drive (and three within easy reach in Tremolat itself), and a lovely...

"We had a very relaxing stay and loved the gardens and surrounding area. The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone. Communication was very good leading up to the stay - a couple of minor delays with responses when at the property but overall good. We would definitely go back "
