"We were 18 persons celebrating my 50th birthday. It was defintiely my best birthday ever, and Mas des Hirondelles played a large part in that. Breakfast at the beatiful patio in the morning. After that there was things to do for everyone, every day. Sunbathing on the deck chairs along the pool. Or laying in the hammocks in the shadow. Taking a swim in the fresh and clean pool. Playing tennis. Riding bike to nearby villages, the local winery, or olive oil manufacturer. Playing fussball or table...

"On n’a pas pu ouvrir les volets en entier car les plantations devant n’étaient pas taillées. Porte d’entrée et porte des wc impossible à ouvrir entier, le dessus de ma tête de lit poussiéreuse, des toiles d’araignées partout. Manque de lumière dans la salle à manger. "This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! The rooms are comfortable, the building itself interesting architecturally, and some very quirky and amusing decor. We arrived during the Pentecost festival, which was very lively ☺️. Some features of the hotel were out of action while they cleaned up afterwards, but plenty of cafes restaurants around. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was fab. I have multiple allergies and they catered for them really carefully. Thank you, Hotel Nimes, we will be back! "
