"We’ve enjoyed our stay a lot in Cipières. Cozy evenings in front of the fire reading a book, instead of watching TV, comfortable bed, the kitchen is equipped with the most important stuff, friendly owner as all the people in the village, there wasn’t anything we would miss."

The location is very quiet and excellent for recharging the batteries and switching off from business. The sleep quality is also incredibly good. The bed is very comfortable and large. "My family and I stayed at this location for a week and we very much enjoyed it! The view was fantastic and we loved all of the activities that were nearby. If you decide to book this location, don’t forget to look at the lake and up at the sky for some beautiful sunsets and stars! Some of the furniture was a little dated but perfectly functional and we felt the chalet was good value for money. "These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday morning."

"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
