The main problem is that the interior furnishings haven't been updated - the beds and mattresses are all very old. The kitchen had dishes and utensils, but we had to rewash everything. "This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Our room had a faint smell of cigarettes (maybe from the old carpet). Otherwise this hotel is really lovely and the staff were really kind! "
