"The overall experience was good. The staff were very nice and willing to help. The hotel is very French which we liked but the carpet in our bedroom was very stiff hessian and therefore uncomfortable on bear feet The staircases 2 were very steep, very narrow and winding in my view not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issues. Breakfast was continental no meat or cheese but more than adequate. There is no restaurant facilities at the hotel however only a 5 minute walk is an IBIS...

"This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. "This place was an epic fail. The place is deplorable. It started with just the exterior being unkept with junk and dozens of cats roaming around. The photos they used must be 20 years old because nothing looked like that. At first they couldn't find my reservation. My room had not been cleaned. There were no towels. The sheets had not been changed. The shower had not been cleaned. Aside from giving me three towels, They did nothing to change this situation. It was late , it was dark , I could...

Top Saint-Martin-la-Pallu Hotel Reviews

Best Western Plus Poitiers Centre Le Grand Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was good, nothing bad to mention. Not too easy to find the lobby though but we found out Staff very helpful. Hotel.com obliges to leave more words than I want. I will stop giving feedback . Bad design"

ibis Poitiers Centre

8/10 Good

"The hotel was pleasant and ideally located, making it a convenient base for our stay. However, the rooms were quite small, and we felt that the number of towels provided was insufficient. The lady on reception when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the staff when we checked out seemed rather uninterested and disengaged, which was disappointing and they looked like we had just woke them up. The reception area could also benefit from some attention, particularly the carpets, which appeared dirty and had a large, noticeable stain. This detracted from the overall appearance and didn’t create the most welcoming first impression. Although the location was convenient, the surrounding area didn’t feel particularly safe at night and it was very noisy outside Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay, but improvements to cleanliness, room amenities and customer service would make a noticeable difference to the guest experience."

Hôtel du Parc Pirates

10/10 Excellent

"A great property for the price. Very clean, rooms can fit a number of people. Staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bar next door great (breakfast included gluten free options if you ask)..There is no air conditioner as people mentioned but apparently they don't come in a 1 star hotel. The weather was low 20s and humid. At times the room still felt too warm but not unbearably so."
