  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Lovely welcome from host. Spacious and comfortable property, well equipped. Huge garden. No DVD player as in description which was disappointing, only a games console. Well positioned property.

Great Stay in a Traditional House

We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside.

Découverte d'une très belle région avec sa campagne vallonnée, sa capitale Limoges, les belles vaches Limousine, les villages au riche passé historique.La maison est accueillante, c'est une maison de bourg au style rustique, bien aménagée, confortable avec un grand jardin où il est agréable d'aller ramasser les prunes.Echange très agréable avec la propriétaire.

Une grande maison agréable et un très bon accueil

Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux d'Esther et sa famille à notre arrivée et beaucoup de conseils touristiques pour profiter de la région. La maison est grande avec beaucoup de charme et elle est fonctionnelle. Il y a une grande terrasse côté jardin. Pratique pour les repas et barbecue. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour même s'il était court. Esther s'est montrée très disponible. Merci encore pour les petites gourmandises à notre arrivée. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir si nous repassons dans la région.

Séjour très agréable!

Maison en très bon état, très bien équipée et spacieuse, jardin arboré idéalement situé pour découvrir cette belle région. La propriétaire est très gentille et accueillante. Excellents souvenirs, très envie d'y retourner.
