  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Remarquable gite "Le lavoir"

Le gite "Le lavoir" est très bien situé juste à proximité de la commune de Saint Paul le Jeune. Gite offrant d'excellentes prestations, literie très confortable, cuisine parfaitement équipée. Les plus : la piscine pour soi hors période scolaire et la terrasse couverte offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur la forêt le matin au petit-déjeuner et le soir pour l'apéro... Environnement calme et reposant. Aucun bruit malgré la départementale, les gites étant en retrait. Merci à Brigitte et Patrick pour l'accueil et la dernière soirée passée ensemble. Nous reviendrons en juin prochain. Véro et Gilles

Bester Urlaub seit Langen!

Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Für uns 4 Personen war ausreichend Platz, aber auf Grund der Temperaturen spielte sich fast alles auf der Terasse oder im Pool ab. Besagter Pool ist schön groß, abends beleuchtet und immer sauber und gepflegt! Das Haus liegt etwas abseits im Ortsteil Sauvas was ein Auto zwingend erforderlich macht. Kleinere Besorgungen kann man in Saint-Paul-le-Jeune machen. Der Weg dort hin ist leider nicht sehr familienfreundlich, da man mehrere hundert Meter auf einer vielbefahrenen Straße laufen muss, ohne Fußweg! Den gibt es erst wieder im Ort. Größere Einkäufe sind im Nachbarort möglich. Zu sehen gibt es in der Region jede Menge, auf das ich hier nicht weiter eingehen kann. Das sprengt den Rahmen. Prospekte sind im Haus viele vorhanden und auch eine Mappe mit den Favorieten der Familie Delacour. Ein Bad im Fluss ist aber ein Muss! Leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen sind auch zwei schöne Restaurants mit regionaler Küche. Man sitzt unter Olivenbäumen und trinkt dazu einen guten Wein. Herrlich! Die Vermieterfamilie Delacour sind ausgesprochen nette Leute! An einem Abend luden sie uns zu einem Wein zusammen mit Nachbarn am Pool ein. Trotz unserer zugegeben bescheidenen Französischkenntnisse wurde es ein sehr lustiger Abend. Auch zu einer Weinverkostung auf einem nahegelegenen Weingut haben sie uns mitgenommen. Eine neue und sehr schöne interessante Erfahrung für uns. Es war ein fantastischer Urlaub bei dem einfach alles gepasst hat! Auf Grund der Menge an Sehenswertem und dem netten Umfeld haben wir beschlossen, auf jeden Fall wiederzukommen!

Un séjour très agréable et recommandable

Nous, une famille de l'Allemagne avec 2 enfants de 10 et 13 ans, avons passé des vacances très agréables dans un gite très bien équipé et calme dans une belle région où on peut faire beaucoup de choses. Les propriétaires Brigitte et Patrick sont très aimables. Quand ils sont présents, ils invitent à un apéro et donnent des bons conseils pour des visites, randonnées, baignades, etc. Nous avons envie de revenir ...

Un séjour très agréable

Patrick et Brigitte sont extrêmement accueillants et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils pour découvrir leur région qu'ils aiment tant. Et ils ont bien raison: ce coin d'Ardeche à tout pour plaire: baignades en rivière, petits villages typiques et charmants, multiples activités et beaucoup de soleil. A découvrir d'urgence!

Séjour très agréable

Couple avec un enfant en bas âge (15 mois), nous avons trouvé la destination idéale. Le gîte "La Fontaine" est parfait pour un enfant de cet âge, qui peut jouer librement sur la terrasse tout en étant en sécurité. En effet, la grande terrasse avec une partie couverte constamment à l'ombre est entièrement sécurisée par des barrières. La terrasse est également très agréable pour les adultes et l'intérieur est propre, fonctionnel et dispose de grandes pièces. Idéal pour une famille avec de 1 à 3 enfants en bas âge. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour. Les propriétaires sont également très accueillants et sympathiques et donne d'excellents conseils pour des visites, balades et autres.

Nous avons passé des vacances très agréables dans des gites( nous avons testé "la fontaine" et " le lavoir") très bien équipés. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse. Le pot d'accueil offert permet de rencontrer les autres vacanciers mais aussi de tester les produits régionaux. C'est aussi l'occasion pour les propriétaires de faire découvrir la région et des balades à faire. La piscine permet de se rafraîchir ce qui est très agréable Nous vous conseillons ce gite si vous avez envie de vacances dans une région magnifique.Nous espérons revenir dans cette belle région et avoir ainsi le plaisir de revoir Patrick et Brigitte. location super, propriétaire très gentils

Wir werden immer gerne an unseren absolut gelungenen Aufenthalt in der Ardèche zurückdenken: Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage: Von hier aus kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten mit dem Auto leicht erreichen. Unsere Wohnung war sehr gut geführt und sauber. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und liebevoll ausgestattet, von unserem Vermieter selbst gemacht. Überhaupt sind Brigitte und Patrick äußerst nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber; Einen ganzen Abend nehmen sie sich Zeit für neue Besucher um sie bei einem Apero über Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wanderungen und Restaurants zu informieren. Außerdem haben sie uns für eine Kanutour ihre Kanus vermietet und gleichzeitig für den Transport gesorgt. Sogar zu einer Weinprobe wurden wir begleitet! Wir können diese Unterkunft aus all diesen Gründen unbedingt empfehlen. Ach ja, auch der Pool ist super. Alles in allem unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Les bons ingrédients pour des vacances réussies

- Le calme : le gîte est situé dans un endroit calme qui permet des vacances de tout repos, jour comme nuit. - le confort : le gîte est très bien équipé, j'ai eu la sensation d'être chez moi. Une mention spéciale pour la cuisine, qui est grande, et où tous les ustensiles sont prévus! Quand on aime cuisiner c'est un vrai plaisir ! - l'accueil : nous avons été très bien accueillis par Brigitte et Patrick. Une mention spéciale pour leur apéro qui en plus de passer un moment très sympa, permet de faire connaissance avec les autres locataires et de partager ensuite la piscine avec plus d'aisance (voire même papoter tout en faisant bronzette !). Par ailleurs, ils sont de très bons conseils pour les visites, activités à faire, et coins baignades alentours. - le cadre : il est difficile de ne pas apprécier l'Ardèche: le soleil, la beauté des paysages, l'accueil des ardéchois ... Pour résumer : nous conseillons vivement!

Très bien

Nous avons été magnifiquement accueillis par les propriétaires. Nous avons occupé le gite La Fontaine et profitions d'une terrasse couverte extérieure très agréable et spacieuse. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Le salon et les chambres sont très confortables même si la salle de bain n'est pas très spacieuse. La région regorge (sans mauvais jeu de mots) de nombreuses activités de loisirs et lieux de visite et les paysages sont magnifiques. Encore merci à Brigitte et Patrick pour leur accueil chaleureux, ainsi que leurs nombreux et précieux conseils. Descriptif fidèle à la réalité. NLGC

vacances idéales

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances entre repos et découverte de l'Ardèche. Le gîte est très confortable et bien équipé. Il est parfaitement placé, il y a pleins de choses à faire à proximité : visite de villages, grottes, .... Nous comptons bien revenir! Wunderschönes Südfrankreich

Wunderschöne Tage in Südfrankreich, die Gegend dort ist wundervoll und empfehlenswert - es gibt schöne kleinere Flüsse zum Baden, Wandern und Kanufahren. Alles ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der Ort St. Paul le Jeune (gut zu Fuß erreichbar) ist zwar klein, hat aber alles zu bieten, was man braucht: von der Apotheke, über die Bäckerei, den Blumenladen, den kleinen Supermarkt, bis hin zu Bars und natürlich einem Tabakladen. Viele kleine mittelalterliche Döfer laden mit Ihrem besonderen Flair zum Spaziergang ein. Die Wohnung ist schlicht, aber mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Besonders schön ist die Terrasse und der Pool, wo sich quasi das ganze Leben abspielt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, es gibt eine Mappe mit Vorschlägen für Unternehmungen, die sehr gut zusammengestellt ist. Herr Delacour nimmt die Gäste mit zu einer Weinprobe eines benachbarten Winzers, schaltet abends die Beleuchtung im Pool an und kümmert sich auch sonst, wenn man etwas benötigt. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, eine zauberhafte Gegend sowie sehr zuvorkommende Vermieter! Durchaus möglich, dass wir wieder kommen.

Überzeugender Gesamteindruck!

Als Familie mit zwei Kindern (10+12) hatten wir folgende Erwartung an die Unterkunft: Einen Pool in akzeptabler Größe in direkter Nähe zum Haus, ein eigenes Zimmer für die Kinder, eine Wiese zum Toben, Vermieter, mit denen in englisch kommuniziert werden kann und eine ordentliche Küche. Alle Punkte wurden erfüllt! Das etwas kleine Kinderzimmer mit Doppelstockbett reichte aus, denn Dank des guten Wetters spielte sich fast alles draußen ab. Hier ist die große, überdachte Terrasse von großem Vorteil, da Hitze gut abgeschirmt wird. Die Küche ist für ein Ferienhaus gut ausgestattet und bietet ausreichend Platz, wenn es doch mal regnen sollte. Die Vermieter, die wärend unseres Aufenthaltes im Nachbarhaus wohnten, sind diskret, aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit, außerdem hatten sie gute Ausflugstipps bereit. Hier zeigte sich die Stärke der Region: Ganz tolle Badestellen in atemberaubender Landschaft, spannende Wanderwege, Tropfsteinhöhlen und weitere interessante Ausflugsziele, die allesamt in max. einer Stunde erreichbar sind. Sehr praktisch auch, dass der Bäcker im Ort in ca. 10 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar ist, so kann das Auto auch mal am Haus bleiben. Fazit: - Das Häuschen ist sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet - Am Pool ging es multikulturell her - das war spannend und kommunikativ - Die Hauptstraße hinter dem Haus ist hörbar, wird aber durch das Haus ganz gut abgeschirmt - Aus unserer Sicht eine klare Empfehlung für einen erholsamen Urlaub Sylvia und Thomas aus Osnabrück / Deutschland

Heerlijke vakantiewoning in de Ardèche

Wij, een gezin met 2 kinderen van 15 en 17 jaar, hebben 2 weken gelogeerd in deze vakantiewoning in St. Paul le Jeune. Het is een hele fijne woning met 2 aparte slaapkamers, een ruime eetkeuken en een kleine, maar bijzonder fraaie badkamer. De woning is heel compleet ingericht, met wasmachine, oven, magnetron, broodrooster, je kunt het zo gek niet verzinnen of het was er. Er is een overdekt terras, zodat je in de schaduw kunt zitten of droog, als het een keer regent. Heel fijn was het zwembad. Niet heel groot, maar groot genoeg om op hete dagen een lekkere frisse duik te nemen. De eigenaren van deze woning maken het hun gasten heel erg naar de zin. Je kunt bij hen terecht voor informatie over de omgeving, restaurants, activiteiten. Ze doen heel erg hun best om je zoveel mogelijk te laten genieten van je vakantie. Helemaal perfect vonden wij het dat ze eigen kano's verhuren en als je wilt kanoën op de Chassezac, brengen ze je er zelf heen en halen je aan het eind van de dag weer op. Verder hebben we genoten van de mooie omgeving, de grotten van l'Aven d'Orgnac en Cocalière, canyoning, parapente, wandelen, kanoën, lokale marktjes en van de wijnproeverij waar de eigenaar ons mee naar toe nam. Al met al een hele leuke vakantie gehad in een mooie vakantiewoning. Een aanrader!!!

Super vacances en famille

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances entre repos et découverte de l'Ardèche. Le gîte est très confortable et bien équipé.
