Beautiful hotel tucked away in a lovely location very close to the motorways so very handy. The service was excellent and very friendly. Thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful and characterful property with many historic references and quirks. Friendly host who served the best gin and tonics in the sun filled outside bower. Breakfast was brilliant and generous with quality ingredients. A place to revisit

Liked: Cleanliness
The double bed was small, we barely fitted lying on our back. The room was over decorated with wild fliower and bird wallpaper everywhere. Not restful. There was a good sized bathroom but shower option was only via bath hose, not for us.
The additional charge €10 each for continental breakfast was ok, but nothing special.
There are extensive grounds which were nice to exercise the dog, but it was raining.
We wouldn’t stay again.
