"Hotel was excellent for are family. We stayed 4 night and went to kings dominion. Staff was family friendly. Breakfast was like any good hotel set up. Room is smaller but we made it work. Breakfast staff was kind and even let the kids get food at 9:30am while she was shutting it down. 7-11 next door you can walk to. Burger King on the other hand was the worst experience I ever seen. They close at 10 online said 11. You get out of the park at 9 and by the time you get in the line at 9:30 ish the manager was the worst ever. Won’t take any orders. Told us 2 night it would be a 10 to 15 min wait if we wanted food we had to come in. We went in and she acted like an idiot wouldn’t take food orders. I will be writing a post and calling corporate. She screamed at the poor kids trying to work as she did nothing. I understand they say on the door they close at 10 but you got hungry kids and there is nothing around to eat pack food for emergency. "Super close to King's Dominion. Literally walking distance. Price is affordable. Great free breakfast. Yes, there is a train right behind the hotel, and yes, it can be annoying. But, I was aware of it before booking and brought my own solution. They do, however, supply ear plugs. The only gripe I had was we were put into a King Suite instead of the double we booked, so my daughter had to use the pull out. No biggie, though. She was still comfortable! Had a good 3 nights here! "
