The vacation home, with a magnificent private pool and views of the countryside, is located in the north of the Dordogne on a hill, outside the village of Saint-Sulpice-d'Excideuil, about 40 km northeast of Périgeux. You are on the border between the Périgord Vert (green), the Périgord Noir (black) and the Périgord Blanc (white), so your vacation home is in exactly the right place to discover this wonderful part of France. For example, visit Sarlat or Brantôme, also called the Green Venice (La Venise Verte), or the caves of Lascaux. The lake of Rouffiac-Angoisse is only 10 minutes away by car. Here you can go windsurfing and rock climbing, among other activities. In addition, the owner of your vacation home La Ferme de Faye owns a private pond a few kilometers away, where you can fish or picnic by the water. If you are keen, he will be happy to show you his collection of restored tractors, or he will bake bread with you in an original, wood-fired bread oven. Your neatly restored cottage is part of the farm. You occupy the building alone, the other parts of the building are not used. So you enjoy absolute peace and privacy. On the meadow orchard (apples, pears and plums), in the yard or in the fenced garden you can wonderfully laze, read or play with the children.
