"The staff were wonderful - very friendly and always willing to help if needed, great advice on areas of the island to be seen. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean and updated. We ate breakfast almost everyday at the restaurant onsite Calabash, they had a full english breakfast, french toast and omelets that were delicious. The swim up bar was fun and the other pool was great as well, with waterfalls and beautful flowers all around. The beach had plenty of chairs and umbrellas, the staff will bring you anything you need, was very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend, beautiful place and always felt safe when walking around, day or night. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Bay. The staff were so kind and efficient, we were very pleased. Usually am nervous with all-inclusive food options but we were very happy with the variety and taste every day! More of a quiet resort, less nightlife and entertainment but perfect for resting and relaxing. Beach looks exactly like the photos, well-kept and clean, clear water. Some seaweed and rocks like any other beach. So many lounge chairs and hammocks, no need to wake up early to reserve chairs. Bar on the beach was perfect, yummy drinks and friendly staff. Did not use the pool/ swim-up bar (on the smaller side) plus we are beach people! Sunsets are a dream! Weather in October was great despite it falling in the hurricane season months. Excursions are available to book at the front desk for extra charge, variety of options. Overall, very happy with Sugar Bay for a restful and relaxing vacation, we will be back! "

"Beautiful location at the beach. This is a huge Hilton, surrounded by beach. My room had a beautiful bay view and a balcony. Food was good but very expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice pool and pool bar/restaurant. Best location to stay in Barbados."
