I travel quite a bit, and like 5 star hotels. This place blew away any other place I have ever stayed. The property is impeccable, the food is outstanding, the pools are fantastic and the service far exceeded our expectations. This place is a must see if you visit St. Tropez.

The Chateau de la Messardiere is a hidden gem. We had a most pleasant and memorable stay, experiencing a super relaxing and truly magnificent weekend. Everything was top of the line, the staff support, the accomodations, and the amenities exceeded expectations. The property and grounds are absolutely stunning. We will stay here again in the future and highly recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed here for 3 days in what was billed as a ‘junior suite’. The room was small and not really a suite, but a largish bedroom. Very disappointing for the 3k plus price charged. Style-less decor and a sweltering bathroom. Overall we were completely underwhelmed by our experience here. The hotel is charmless and ordinary. By day 2 we decided it was really like a Disney cruise ship experience. There are gaggles and gaggles of school age kids traveling with parents and a few nannys in tow...this place ain’t cheap…There are groaning buffets breakfasts and equally overstuffed buffet lunches. If you don't arrive just as the buffet opens, the place is in shambles with half empty platters , a frazzled waitstaff and inedible picked -over looking food. The spa is decent, the restaurant waitstaff tried really hard. The concierge was just absent even though he was sitting at the front desk with a sign in front of him. We asked for help with one dinner reservation. 6 hours later I had to call to follow up and he gruffly told me’ don't you know there are many other guests in the hotel?’…really ? At 3k plus a night, one tiny request for a dinner reservation and this is the response? I ended up making the reservation myself. Staff at front desk is useless….go elsewhere..a big big big disappointment. Gigantic disappointment for the price. A Sheraton in Des Moines is more exciting.

sono un cliente abituale che ama questo hotel . stavolta il mio soggiorno molto deludente . la colazione e il pranzo a buffet , molto di bassa qualita ' . pesce d'allevamento. ostriche cattivo odore , gamberi e aragoste di bassa qualita ' Mi hanno tolto anche la torta al limone. . Le navette ( bus e rolls) sempre assenti . Ogni volta se va bene bisogna attendere 15 minuti al freddo sia in hotel che a St Tropez . ho ordinato una medicina per la pressione per le h 8 e mi e' arrivata alle h 12:30 !!. La camera al mio ritorno non era stata pulita ancora alle ore 16:30 . e sempre problemi tecnici alla TV. Solo una cameriera per rifare la suite . Da Cipriani. a Venezia arrivano in 3 !!. Poi la camera al freddo , perche' non era prevista l'aria calda : Mi hanno portato una stufa ( hotel 5 stelle L ) che non funzionava. Il personale e i manager sono fantastici , ma l'hotel stavolta era abbandonato a se stesso. E francamente pagare oltre 2000/ 3000 euro a notte per questi disservizi non va bene . Non so se ritornero' piu '.

hotel fantastico per posizione. Staff molto gentile . Desk manager Lara preparata e professionale . Il general manager italiano , numero uno , nell'ascoltare le esigenze del cliente e nel promuovere nel breve futuro un NO SMOKING nella sala del breakfast . Il fumo dei fumatori arriva in faccia ai clienti che non fumano , con grave disturbo della colazione stessa . In piu i bambini vittime innocenti del fumo passivo .Ho segnalato al manager , che mi ha promesso che fara' un divieto di fumo durante il breakfast. In linea con le direttive della CEE sui divieti del fumo nei locali e nelle spiagge pieni di bambini e donne in gravidanza . Altro lato da migliorare , la lunga attesa per prendere la navetta per saint tropez o per la spiaggia . Troppi 10 minuti di attesa . I clienti stanno fermi in fila sotto il sole . E altri 10 minuti di attesa per tornare , piu il viaggio , e' troppo tempo prezioso di vacanza buttato via . Das Zimmer das wir gebucht hatten nach Fotos, war weit entfernt von dem was wir bekamen. Es war ein sehr, sehr, sehr altes Zimmer. Schlechter Zustand, vor dem Einfang des Zimmers bröckelte alles ab. Nach zweimaliger Reklamation, bekamen wir ein besseres Zimmer mit Traum Aussicht. Zimmer aber aus unserer Sicht überteuert weil klein und billig eingerichtet. Das Wasser lief im Badezimmer im Lavabo nicht ab. Der Service war sehr schlecht, bei der ersten Bestellung bekamen wir fast nie das bestellte . Erst beim zweiten Anlauf klappte es meistens.Zigaretten beim Service bestellt, musste aber selber an der Bar abgeholt werden bei einem Preis von 25 Euro👎. Lage des Hotels ist Traumhaft und auch die Öffentlichen Räume sind sehr schön und Einladen. Alles in allem aber überteuert.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Service was first class from the moment we arrived and were shown around the hotel by Chloe to the moment we left with a leaving gift and fully valeted car. The hotel, grounds and accompanying beach club are stunning and immaculate. Food fantastic, we didn't try L'Auberge des Maures, but all others amazing. Free shuttle service to the beach and into Saint-Tropez. We will definitely return next year - absolutely faultless stay.

The whole property is simply stunning! Probably the best European hotel we have stayed in and we have travelled extensively. Everything is fabulous - the food, service, staff and the ambiance of the hotel luxurious. Two outstanding features are the hotels private beach club and the complimentary shuttle service to that and St Tropez. Only criticism is that there aren’t sufficient beach beds at the Club.
