"L’endroit mérite une rénovation complète. Le logement est propre mais une odeur d’égout envahît les pièces. L’entretien autour des logements est très négligé. L’endroit est éloigné des commerces. Le fait de devoir réserver la veille pour le restaurant, n’est pas adapté aux vacances. Le rivière est pleine de vase. C’est peu engageant de se reposer au bord. "

"Lovely spot for an overnight on the way down through France, kids loved the facilities including pool and the accommodation was quirky and fun. Staff were really friendly and the food and coffee were great after a long day driving."

Breakfast was self service with good quality choice and produce. The restaurant was fantastic, fresh ingredients on all courses, beautifully cooked and served accompanied with a well chosen wine. "This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"
