"LOVED it. If you are looking for a quiet place to just relax on the beach-this is your hotel. Staff greeted us with orange juice and they handled all our baggage from the moment we got off the boat. They also have free boat rides for day of arrival and departure. My husband and I didn't want to be by all the touristy parts so this was perfect. It felt isolated and quiet and I absolutely loved having private beach as my front yard. You can go kayaking, hiking (although this hike was definitely an UPHILL challenge which they do warn you about and it needs to be updated), and my favorite activity-snorkeling. There is a plethora of fish in the water and so many colors and sizes. It was a magical experience to swim with them every day. Room was cleaned everyday and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was included and they were very generous with serving sizes. I loved how we were able to do all the touristy things on this island without having to be around so many people. Will absolutely be back!"

"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed. The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures. The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :) Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it. "We stayed at Avani+ Koh Lanta for 3 nights in a pool villa and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. Our private pool villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the buggy service, which was super quick every time we called — rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The pool bar was great, and the happy hour from 5–6 PM was a nice touch. That said, when it gets busy, it can be a little hard to get your drinks in time before happy hour ends. We also found the pool bar closed quite early in the evening — not sure if that’s just during low season or standard for the resort. Food at the resort was good, though a bit on the expensive side — which is expected for a resort. In our opinion, the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, especially since there’s only one restaurant and the location is quite secluded from other dining options. Despite these small points, we really enjoyed our time here. The peaceful setting, friendly service, and overall vibe made it a memorable stay. We’d happily come back again! "

"Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."
