The housekeeping staff was excellent. But i lost a shwal in the lobby restaurant and i asked to see the camera footageand they refused to show it to me, saying that i walked out of the lobby with the shawl. I am pretty sure i did not. But we will never know. Also, the package deal for the room i was offered as part of a group was a lot more expensive than the prices on every booking website. I called the reservation team to tell them this. This has never happened to me in any hotel in the world. The group discount is always a bit lower

There is a brass clock tower in the middle of the northwestern riwak, which was presented to Muhammad Ali by King Louis Philippe of France in 1845. The clock was reciprocated with the obelisk of Luxor now standing in Place de la Concorde in Paris. Funny thing is that the clock has never worked... #Cairo #Egypt

Originally Beit El Kertlia, this historic home has so many grand rooms, ornate decor, beautiful courtyards, gardens and and my favorite part, the rooftop (you can see Ibn Tulum mosque from here). ⁣

One of the many interesting features in this house, is an indoor well, it is in the first room you can enter to your right. They say if you stare closely down the well, you'll see the face of your lover staring back at you
