Estimated Sr. Sánchez Bernal Greetings from Pensión Salamanca. The management of our accommodation addresses you in order to apologize and give you feedback of your complaint. After knowing what happened to you, immediately I began to gather all the information on this case. I was out of the city over these days, this is the main reason I could not reach you before you left our hostel. Indeed, there were a number of irregularities including the bed bugs. After doing a research on all the reservations on the room, we may assume that the infection was brought by a couple of pilgrims that stay in that room number 8 some days before your arrival. Unfortunately, as it is not common having episodes of this nature in our hostel (you could see it on our reviews), the staff got surprised with your complaint. However, the attitude towards you was wrong and as a result the person that was in charge of the Reception and guest service was fired. The room, including mattresses and everything was under the treatment devoted to disinfect the room and to prevent a plague on the accommodation. Nowadays, Pension Salamanca remains clean and out of any kind of insect or plague that may harm the security of our guests. It is important to point out that although all hygienic measures are taken to guarantee security, this kind of business is not exempt to face cases of infection of all natures. The reason is the diversity of clients. I can assure that all the positive reviews of our place is the response of gratitude of our guests to our effort for offering the best. We are a legal accommodation, with all the forms for complaints and surveys a guest may request. We do not understand the reason our Receptionist acted in such a bad behavior. La habitación reservada por usted no tenia baño privado como le demostramos en el establecimiento y en consecuencia le hicimos un descuento pues no contamos con la disponibilidad de asignarle una habitación con baño privado. Gracias por comentarlo y aunque no fuimos capaces de satisfacer sus expectativas nos hemos dado a la tarea de revisar al detalle la descripción de nuestras habitaciones para que no se repita con otros clientes en el futuro.
