A great spot to explore the ardeche and ceze valleys. Plenty to see and do. The mas is cool and cosy, a real home from home. The pool is amazing. We’re already planning next year’s visit.

Belle demeure avec beaucoup de charme dans un joli petit village provençal. Piscine bien entretenue. La propriétaire est rapidement disponible par téléphone et appelle les personnes responsables de l'entretien de la maison si besoin. Literie confortable Points négatifs: Beaucoup de guêpes nous empêchant de manger dehors ou d'ouvrir les fenêtres de la maison. J'ai finalement découvert un nid de guêpes dans l'un des murs de la maison. Etonnant que personne ne l'ait vu avant... Le ménage est très superficiel et il y a énormément de toiles d'araignées ( araignées qui vont avec...) sur les plafonds, murs... Honnêtement, je n'ai pas osé ouvrir ou déplacer certains meubles de peur d'une mauvaise surprise! Nous avons trouvé 3 scorpions dans la maison en 48h ( on nous dit que c'est normal quand il fait chaud !!! ), si bien que nous avons finalement écourté notre séjour et sommes partis le jeudi au lieu du samedi. Avec un bébé de 5 mois, nous ne souhaitions pas prendre le moindre risque. Et quelques détails: bac de légumes du réfrigérateur cassé, rideau de douche déchiré Nous habitons également dans la région et louons souvent des maisons; et c'est bien la première fois que nous faisions face à autant de problèmes en si peu de temps. Il me semble absolument nécessaire qu'un ménage en profondeur soit réalisé dans la maison car il y a visiblement un manque d'entretien. Cela est bien dommage car la maison a beaucoup de potentiel !!!

Nous étions une famille de 3 couples et un bébé, ravis d'être au calme dans un très beau site. Belle maison, dont nous occupions le rez-de-chaussée, l'étage supérieur étant fermé. La région est riche en visites et baignades. Le Pont d'Arc et la grotte Chauvet sont à 45 mn par une belle route qui surplombe les gorges de l'Ardèche -(et où de nuit on peut croiser un troupeau de chèvres égarées!). Eviter l'affluence d'aout est possible en jouant sur les horaires. Il faisait très chaud cette semaine, mais avec une clim dans le salon et des ventilateurs dans chaque chambre nous étions très bien à l'intérieur. La piscine est grande et munie d'une couverture à fonctionnement électrique très pratique, et sécurisante quand on est avec un jeune enfant. Le village attenant de Salazac est beau, sans aucun commerce mais nous avons pu goûter à l'ambiance locale lors de la fête du vendredi soir -concert , pizzas- souvent organisée l'été. On fait les courses en voiture mais pas besoin d'aller bien loin. A préciser dans l'annonce : les frais bancaires, ma banque m'a demandé 60 euros pour la conversion du paiement en livres.

Super séjour dans cette petite maison. Nous étions 4 couples et s’il n’était pas facile de faire rentrer toutes les affaires dans les petites chambres, le lieu est tellement apaisant et bien équipé que c’était vite oublié ! Jane était très réactive à nos demandes et c’était vraiment appréciable! Super séjour en famille, la piscine est un vrai atout! On recommande à 100%

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce joli mas. Jane a été accommodante et réactive avant et pendant notre semaine de vacances. La maison et notamment la terrasse avec piscine sont très agréables. Plus généralement, Salazac est calme et très bien situé. Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses visites de villages pittoresques et de randonnées à moins de 30 minutes de voiture. À recommander !

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass tatsächlich ausreichend Platz für 8 Personen ist. Es gibt jede Menge Geschirr, viele Stühle und Liegen und bei schlechtem Wetter auch drinnen viel Platz. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und auch einiges mehr. Ein Bad ist unmittelbar am Wohnzimmer gelegen und ein Schlafzimmer nur wenige Schritte den Flur entlang. Die übrigen Schlafräume und das zweite Bad sind durch einen weiteren Flur und eine Zwischentür abgetrennt. Im Pool kann man nicht nur abtauchen, sondern tatsächlich schwimmen. Das Gelände liegt zudem sehr geschützt, so dass man ungestört und überwiegend ungesehen bleibt und sich am Pool ohne Bedenken entspannen kann. Direkt gegenüber des Fahrweges befindet sich die hohe Stadtmauer, so dass man vom eigentlichen Ort etwas abgegrenzt ist. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und blieben viel häufiger am Haus, als wir vorher dachten. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen - und dabei haben uns auch die Spinnweben nicht gestört, die in vielen Ecken zu sehen waren... Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit!

The villa is a spacious property with everything you need. We loved the fact that it was away from neighbours, had a great pool and privacy. It got the sun all day and was really just a lovely relaxing place to stay.

Holiday with 8 adult family members. Plenty of space and comfy beds. There was a choice of bathrooms so no queue in the morning. Huge lounge/kitchen area with doors either end giving a welcome breeze in the unusually hot weather for June. Pool was large and very clean and was enjoyed by everyone. Garden was private, not overlooked and plenty of parking space. There were lots of villages and towns to explore as well as domains to sample and buy local wines.Lovely area and holiday enjoyed by all. Would go back back again.

The house was lovely especially the outside area. The inside is old but has its charm and works. A few things would have been nice, like proper duvet covers instead of sheets with a duvet (with visible stains) on top of the sheets. Some personal recommendations such as good wineries, bakery’s or must sees to visit would have been nice. There was also a lack of communication that the pool was going to be cleaned on Thursday. Of course it has to be cleaned but we had a scare when al of a sudden a pool guy stood outside the house at 7am and without saying anything left with a pool vacuum cleaner inside the pool till 12.00. (On the one day we decided not to go anywhere). Then an older couple (pool guy and cleaner) showed up Saturday morning at 9 am, probably wanting to clean early, but were irritated (hanging around) that we were leaving at the latest hour (11 am). Not a relaxed end to our stay.

Mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern haben wir hier eine Woche Entspannung pur genossen. Essen, baden, kochen, sonnen und wunderschöne Ausflüge an die Ardeche. Morgens mit dem Fahrrad zum Bäcker, erst schön bergab, auf dem Rückweg sportlich bergauf. Wir haben den Aufenthalt alle sehr genossen.

This was the ideal location from which to explore the area. There are so many opportunities for day trips - read Jane's recommendations - and it's amazing to come "home" to your own space and relax around the pool. We stayed here with our two daughters, ages 12 and 14, for six nights and there was plenty of room for everyone. The building itself is charming with lots of character and the kitchen is well-equipped. Note, you'll need to bring your own sundries, such as soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc. It was hot and sunny during our stay and we enjoyed the pool and walks in the surrounding area. We ate al fresco every evening and bought wine from the local vineyards. It was a lovely week!
