"A little nervous as contact was the day after we had left England but from that moment on communication from the owner was perfect.......he could not have done enough for us.......the house is beautifully located opposite the lake and has everything you need for your stay. "The house it self and the rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen however is small in comparison. Garden is very big and usable. Location is good enough to access various places, but some amenities are a few min drive away. The house is right on a fairly busy road but it's not an issue with the windows closed. The pool, while very nice and clean, is quite cold and even in mid August we struggled to utilize it. Overall the property does the job, but for the money, I hoped for something better."

The hosts were unbelievably helpful, even organising dinner reservations and a cake for a birthday! The area is absolutely stunning with so much to do and see. "The place was clean and the heating worked properly. Most of the beds are very uncomfortable opening sofa beds. The place is managed by an agency and not by the owner. You need to get the keys from the agents office which is half an hour drive away. The agent did not know the villa very well, thus could not give accurate information. There is no parking at the villa but there is parking at a nearby street."

"Eine traumhafte Lage mit tollem Blick auf den See. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. In dem liebe- und stilvoll eingerichteten Haus fehlt es an nichts. Die Vermieter*in sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben sehr gute Tipps. Die herzliche und gleichzeitig auf Privatsphäre bedachte Art der Vermieter*in kommen noch als i-Tüpfelchen obendrauf. Novella, the property manager, was a dream to work with and answered all questions quickly. We also took advantage of the chefs, Manuel and Mahara. The vintage home is meticulously restored to its original impressive detail-- but as comfortable as any modern home.
