Welcome to Vista Verde, a professionally cleaned, family-friendly and pet-friendly, three-story home designed for large families and multi-generation stays in the gated Keowee Key Resort. With three bedrooms, three baths, and living space on each level, everyone has room to spread out—kids, teens, and adults alike. A Pack ’n Play is available for families traveling with little ones.

Parking is directly in front of the unit (2 spaces), making arrivals, unloading, and grocery runs easy with kids in tow. Additional parking is nearby at The Club.

Mornings begin on the wooded deck with coffee while kids enjoy games downstairs. The fully equipped kitchen makes family meals simple, and the layout keeps everyone connected without feeling crowded.

Families enjoy access to shared Keowee Key resort amenities with passes included with stay. Many are free and youth-friendly (indoor heated pool, outdoor pools, pickleball, tennis), while optional activities like golf and boat or kayak rentals are available for an additional fee or reservation.

Evenings are made for s’mores, movie nights, board games, and winding down after full days of adventure. Smart TVs are available throughout the home.

The host was extremely responsive. The home was clean and well-equipped. Each room had privacy (1 on each of three floors) and its own bathroom. The view and peaceful sounds from the back porch were so relaxing.

Lake Keowee Vacation

We had a great time in this condo - 3 levels of living so everyone had their own space and the main and lower level are great gathering places as well. Work area on the top floor too. Right across from a dog walking area that was great for our dog. Highly recommend.

We stayed the weekend to visit my son for his birthday and attend a football game. Keowee is beautiful. The fall color was gorgeous the lake was sparkling the weather perfect. We wish we would have had more time to explore the walking trails and try the restaurants. The property was clean and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the basket of granola bars and the coffee in the cupboard! It was nice to be a little way out from Clemson and get a whole townhouse for a better price than a downtown hotel room. I also loved the ease of checking in. When we had an issue with our key code, it was fixed within minutes. Oh and the app that opens gates? That’s pretty cool. Thank you Tarah!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our girls really enjoyed the ping pong table. :) Tara was an excellent host and was super responsive. Would definitely come again!

We had a lovely stay at this property, and the property was as advertised. The only hiccup was some difficulty finding the entrance gate, but the host was quick to assist with good directions. Would stay again!

Amazing trip

Comfortable and quiet

We loved this comfy spot in quiet gated community near the lake. We were in town for family gathering and this unit allowed several adults to have privacy in the same house. Will definitely return when we have more time to stay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

My family and I went to our Daughter graduation in Clemson and rent this property, which was about 20 minutes from Clemson University.The house is very cute very well equipped for all our needs and super clean.Tarah, was wonderful and answered all my questions.We definitely will stay in this property again.

Lovely home with host who thought of everything

Keowee Key has it all and Tarah made our stay even better. We brought our pups with us and were greeted with dog biscuits and an immaculate condo, perfectly appointed. There was so much room to spread out, everything we needed, and just a cozy lake living vibe. We enjoyed time in the lake, on the porch(es), and winding down on the sofa at night. Couldnt ask for anything more. Thanks, Tarah we loved it!

The property and location were lovely. It was stocked with everything we need it and more. I would love to go back and stay longer so that we can enjoy more of the activities in the area. We were there for Clemson family weekend, so not much time to enjoy the actual property and amenities. It’s about a 25 minute drive to the college, but really a great value for what was provided

Clemson University Weekend

Our daughter will begin Clemson University this fall so, we took a family trip to spend some time there for an open house and a baseball game. The accomadations were perfect. The floor plan was great for a family with 2 teenage girls. They basically had their own floor! Our 2 dogs came too and enjoyed all the special things that made the place pet friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot

If I could give this 6 ⭐️, I would. Overall it’s a great setup for a family of four. Three level condo with each level having a bedroom and en-suite. The Keowee Key complex is easy going with pools, golf course, and a restaurant. Proximity to the lake was a bonus for “boat day”. The host was super with communication and as hard as I tried, we couldn’t find anything that was over looked. The place was stocked to hilt. Literally, bring some groceries and get started with vacay! We would definitely return. This is a VRBO keeper!

Nice property

There were 5 of us in the party - family getaway. It was very nicely decorated and had plenty of everything we needed. We even cooked a few nights and had everything we needed. It would be great for 3 couples as there are 3 levels and a full bathroom on each levels. The only thing that we didn’t love was the sitting bathtub in the primary bathroom, no stand up shower capability. But didn’t really takeaway from the trip. Great time, great pickleball at a nearby club, time we’ll spent with our family.

Great location

Great location for our wedding. A couple of items that need to be addressed is no full length mirror in master bedroom or bathroom. Tough for women to get ready without that type of mirror on main floor. Also the toilets have no pressure to flush with more than one piece of paper without constantly using plunger. Also the master bath has no shower but walk in tub with hand held shower. Not what I would expect in master. Other than that everything was clean and had all what you needed for a great weekend. If toilet situation was fixed would stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Only 15 minutes from Lake Jocassee. Check I process was a little confusing. Directions had 2 different ways in accessing South Entrance. Of course I took the wrong entrance for members. Directions said if you had Waze to enter Keowee Key South so I did. I should have taken Rochester Hwy. Tarah was awesome and responded to my call and led me to the correct entrance. If you access member gate will not open. Bedrooms were good size and the kids liked the treadle beds. AC was great and a tad bit cold on the lower level. We kept door open which helped. Kitchen was well stocked but a little small. We had access to 2 pools. Wish we knew kayak closed at 4p but we will for next time. Alway love having a washer and dryer. We brought our dog and he even had a good time. I wish we had a map of where different areas were. I think it would be good to have this by the tourist information. We had to ask around and Julie from Keowee administration was very helpful. Tarah’s communication was excellent. She usually responded right away. Thank you Tarah for your hospitality. Also have to mention that the game room downstairs was great adults and kids really enjoyed.
