"Pros: Het is een fantastisch huis met een mooie tuin met daarin een mooi zwembad (8x4), ligbedden met stevige parasols, overkapping met keuken en extra koelkast en een fijne loungeset. Ook op het balkon aan de voorkant is het goed toeven. Het tweepersoonsbed ligt ook fijn. De badkamer is wat klein, maar voldoet wel. Wat ook fijn is, is een extra douche en toilet bij het zwembad. Het contact met Katia en Guiseppe verliep uitstekend. Je hoeft maar te kicken en ze regelen het. Wel via google...

"Hat alles ganz gut geklappt ,hätte aber ruhig etwas näher in der Stadt sein können da es an der Schnellstraße liegt schlecht mit Kindern zufuss zu erreichen daher eher an Auto gebunden"

"We spent two months in this lovely town, in an amazing house. Piero and Natalia were excellent hosts. The house is well equipped and the terrace is wonderful. The weather for November and December was very comfortable, even able to swim in the sea. The folks of Balestrate were kind and very helpful. The quality of the food, from meat to fruit and veggies to fresh baked bread and pastries was very good. Balestrate itself is an easy town to walk so you dont need a car. The train and bus...

"Very comfortable b&b with excellent breakfasts. Aldo is very charming and helpful and gave us many suggestions on how to get around on the bus as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. The renovations to the building are well executed with old stonework and wood beam ceilings integrated into all the modern commodities. The location is excellent, close to the port for ferries to the islands as well as easy access to buses for Erice."

"We had a lovely time at the villa and enjoyed the beach greatly. Antonina kindly provided lots of beach toys for the kids and Signor Livorio stepped in quickly to fix a broken parasol after it blew over in the wind! A wonderful time, I highly recommend."

Eine bessere Wegbeschreibung wäre schön, da man sich schon sicher sein möchte, wenn man die steile Auffahrt hoch fährt, dass man dort richtig ist. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber sauber, allerdings wären ein paar neue Stühle für innen und außen angebracht, da sie entweder fast auseinander brechen, oder verrostet sind. "Die Unterkunft war für mich die Hölle.Es war dreckig, die Matratzen waren versyfft mit Urin und Blutflecken. Selber die Bettwäsche die wir bekommen haben , waren nicht sauber gewaschen. Das Haus selber war schön. Die Lage war auch ok. Schöner Meerblick. Ich könnte noch so viel negatives schreiben, das würde aber alles sprengen. Kurz um , ich musste erst Mal zwei Tage putzen und Bettwäsche waschen, daß man sich ein wenig wohl fühlen konnte.Würde die Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen "
