The unit we stayed in backed up to a restaurant patio, so that was a little awkward because we felt like we were sitting at the table with everyone hearing their conversations lol. "Overall, had an excellent experience! We tend to prefer locations away from the crowds so this place was excellent - 15 to 20 minutes into Salida with a beautiful drive. Beautiful views from the back of the property of the Arkansas river and surrounding mountains! Very relaxing! Listing (pictures) was mostly accurate. "Everything was excellent except that there was no air conditioning which I was not aware of when I booked it. It may have been in the information and I just missed it. It was 81 in there when we checked in at 8 pm and didn’t cool down much. It was hard to sleep at night. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants! "
