Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave the heat on. Set the TV room fireplace and both upstairs bedroom gas stoves to auto at 60°, and leave the bathroom baseboard heaters on. Pipes freeze fast up here.
Make sure the wood stove fire is completely out, turn off the master bedroom fireplace, and unplug all portable electric heaters.
Close and lock all windows and doors, and clear your food out of the fridge. No need to strip beds or run the dishwasher. Our cleaners handle the rest!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please never turn off the thermostat-controlled gas fireplaces, gas stoves, or bathroom heaters. They keep the pipes from freezing.
The house is on a septic system. Please flush only toilet paper. No wipes (even flushable ones), paper towels, or feminine products.
OHVs may only be driven on the driveway for access, not on the property. Bears live nearby, so keep all food and trash inside.
