Comfy, cozy, compact suite. Gracious, non- intrusive but available hosts. Would visit again.

Charming place. Easy to get around from via car. 7 minute drive to downtown. We will return.

Nice clean place. Perfect place to stay! Thank you!

My husband and I enjoyed two nights here. It was a great space to have our baby along and sleeping on the other side of the room from our bed. Perfect amount of space for us! We didn't use the kitchenette but had we had a longer stay it would have been really useful too. Nice that it's a suite above a garage so very private. Thanks for the accommodation!

Clean and cozy

Spotlessly clean. Excellent use of space - for a small studio it felt spacious. Easy checkin with lockbox. Since it’s not downtown but in a suburb, you need a car. Good neighbourhood.

Fabulous spot

We only stayed for one night as we were heading to Banff. The loft over the garage had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower. We went to the waterfront for dinner and had the added pleasure of listening/watching music in the park.

What a fabulous hidden gem this coach loft is. Spotless, comfortable, quiet. Next time in town we would stay here again without a doubt. Thanks for having us.

Unique and comfortable

Nicely finished and well equipped . Very comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but never received lock box instructions and directions so check in was delayed...but once contact made all was great! Will probably use again.

Most efficiently appointed space

This loft is super clean and although not large is so well appointed that it seems bigger than it is, except for the tiny TV. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare a meal, although personally I would have liked to have had access to a BBQ. My experiences with VRBO rentals has always been in the US and I"m not sure if that is a factor here but in the US I have always found basic condiments in the fridge and salt, pepper, spices, oil etc. in the cupboard. There was none of that here but there was a good supply of coffee ans tea. Ruth and her husband were both very pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. Irene

Small but Quaint

Separate stairway entrance to second storey suite, clean and comfortable, in secluded area, very quiet and no tub, shower only.

Very nice self contained suite. Not suitable for people having difficulty with stairs. Bathroom and shower was small but our experience was very good.

Better than a hotel with all the confort needed

very clean, well organized, good neighbourhood; a bit confusing to get there with all the streets leading to somewhere else. I thought I could do better by myself and did not use the owner's recommendations. Guidance from car is good and have to be trusted.

Could not ask for more

Please keep in mind when you read this review that we are accustomed to staying in budget motels/hotels. When we are on vacation we only sleep in our room for a few hours and that is all. No need for anything fancy, clean is about my only must have. That being said. This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. The only other place I think we have enjoyed as much as this was a very quaint old hotel we found many years ago in the Catskill Mountains in New York state. This place offers everything. It is SUPER CLEAN. In fact, it is probably as clean as my own home. It is SUPER QUIET at night. It is a very short car ride, or a modest walk to beautiful downtown Salmon Arm, and close to the Trans Canada #1. It is SUPER PRIVATE. You are in a loft in a detached structure with a garage underneath of you. No one is sleeping/living beside you, under you or above you. There are many thoughtful touches, such as a sensor light that comes on when you pull into the parking space. There is a mosquito screen on the door, so you can leave the door open and not get eaten alive if so desired. There are cookies, tea, filtered water etc waiting for you. I never met Earl, Ruth is very courteous, but leaves you alone (which I like). There are very few flaws to this accommodation. If I was to be nit-picky, I would like to see more windows. We love a very cool room to sleep in and nights in Salmon Arm tend to get nice and chilly, so more windows and a box fan would be amazing, however there is air conditioning. Also the shower head is too low. Gee, I’m really having to dig deep to find the cons here. I really loved my stay here. I will DEFINITELY return if this place is still offered next time I visit Salmon Arm. Erika and Ty, Cambridge Ontario (July 10-15 2017)
