This hotel is truly beautiful, we had a superior room with balcony and it was so worth it. The bathroom is gorgeous and super spacious. Located 4 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool/outside area which we didn’t use because it was not regularly cleaned for leaves and insects (truly a shame cause that’s the only points it loses). Other than that we had a phenomenal time

The smell from the drain was bad and the cleaning was also bad, even after requestions for better cleaning nothing changed. Otherwise great location , big rooms and a very comfortable bed. Very helpful and nice staff.

Nice hotel. Staff were friendly. When we arrived at our room the outdoor balcony had rubbish on the ground which meant it wasnt cleaned and made us nervous about the room, however, the room appeared well cleaned. The rooms were spacious and beds were the most comfortable i have stayed in while away. The door out to the balcony did not close properly so there was alot of noise coming in during the night. The next day it looked like it was closed but there was still a little space even though it was locked. This let alot of noise in again. We only stayed the 2 nights so just mentioned when we were leaving. There was no bar, only the option to order a drink at the reception so no where to relax in the evenings.The pool didnt appear to be heated but had a lovely area around it for relaxing in the sun with confortaable loungers. It was very close ro the beach and amenities. We didnt use the spa as day one we were exploring and the next day it was closed for cleaning. We visited off peak so maybe some of the issues were due to this.

Can’t beat this hotel location - a gem!

This hotel was fabulous for a 4 night stay in the heart of Salou. The location is its winning feature - literally 1 min walk from the promenade and beachfront. The road the hotel is located on is quiet too. Hotel rooms are recently renovated - they are huge and modern. Beds are very firm if that’s an issue for you, but it wasn’t for us. We arrived early and just left our bags in the storage room. Breakfast is fine for a continental. You can order some hot items like eggs. Doesn’t matter if breakfast doesn’t float your boat as there are plenty food options nearby - loads of cafes, restaurants and a good little supermarket over the road. Can’t fault this place based on what we paid. We will be back! Tip - Magnolia Hotel is part of Blaumar Hotel group. Blaumar have a beach bar with sun loungers and parasols further down the beach. You can buy at a discount a voucher for the beds/parasols at reception. They don’t advertise this when it’s a big perk and they should be! Ask at reception and you pay there then hand the ticket to the lads on the beach when you choose a bed!

Great location, clean hotel,poor breakfast options

Hotel smells lovely as soon as you walk in, rooms cleaned daily and beds made. Room was spotless however there were a few stains on some of the bedding. Very friendly staff to greet you, call taxis and provided information about places to go. However would not allow a later checkout as we were told the hotel was full but there were still plenty of rooms available online so we had to book an extra night instead of just paying to stay later the same day. The room then did not get cleaned for the last day and no fresh towels like we had received the previous days. Breakfast was not the best, some of the packaged food was out of date and the fruit/ salad looked as though it had been left out for days. Quite a small selection of hot foods and mostly pastries/ cakes which is not ideal for breakfast. There was a great selection of cheese, breads and drinks. Balcony was a decent size and room quite large, in a great location too. Spa was quite small and access is restricted to certain times and also was closed on a monday. Pool and outdoor area was lovely.
