When we arrived at the apartment, there was a foul smell. We discovered it was because the garbage disposal didn't work. We had to contact maintenance because the host was not responding. Maintenance was able to help us resolve the issue, however the smell did not go away. The stench was of mold, which is dangerous. The pictures of the unit showed a pool and spa, but when we went to the pool, it was covered and closed. Also, pool towels were not provided, so we had to use the white towels from the apartment. The two white towels provided were stained and had someone's hair all over them. One towel was not bath size, so we had one towel for bathing and spa use. The apartment's location was not satisfactory. It was next to a quarry, and dirt and dust covered the entire balcony, making it unusable. The apartment's location in the building was unsatisfactory as well. It was inset and did not receive any direct sunlight. The size of the bed was also unsatisfactory. It was a FULL, not even a QUEEN. We only book rooms with a KING. This was deceiving. There was hair everywhere: on the bathroom floor, in the shower, in the pantry in the kitchen. No sponges were provided in the kitchen for doing dishes, no washing machine pods for doing laundry, and an empty bottle without olive oil. On top of all of this, the host was unreachable. A company manages this apartment. Ireland, the apartment manager, got back to me the next day and said that all of my messages had gone unread.
