Luxury Downtown Holistic Green Home with Garage.
An extreme Green home certified by the National Green Builder Standard and awarded "Gold Standard". The house is located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. The home is 2,300 square feet with photovoltaic solar panels, geothermal heating and cooling, thermal-break construction, and a complete package of energy saving features. All windows and doors are triple pane with Integra blinds and roll screens.
Allergy suffers will find our home a haven during allergy season. The home is designed to be hypoallergenic by keeping carpets and fabric out of the home. The Lenox electronic air filter will clean the air 99.9% of any dust or pollen brought into the house. Come and enjoy this quiet home relax and enjoy. You will be amazed how quiet the home is.
Kitchen appliances are professional grade. The outside patio has a build in professional grade barbeque located right outside the kitchen door ($75.00 Charge for usage).
The house has three levels. The lower level has a media room with wet bar and adjacent powder bath. The bedroom has ensuite bath and laundry room. The main floor is an open floor plan sharing kitchen and seating area with gas fireplace. The kitchen has build-in professional grade kitchen appliances. The main floor has its own powder bath, entry to the garage and the front door, and a sliding door to the covered patio. The primary suite is on the upper level with an ensuite bathroom having an air-tub, heated floor, a steam shower with multiple shower heads, separate water closet and a walk-in closet that has its own laundry.
The backyard has a flagstone patio and is green zeroscape.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Martine was a great and responsive host and was very accommodating of some changes in our schedule. The house was very clean and accurate to the photos. No complaints at all, I would stay here again
We had a fantastic stay at this modern and comfortable home, conveniently located near the University of Utah and downtown. The train system is just steps away, making it easy to get around. The master suite was beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio. Having access to a garage was an added bonus. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Highly recommend!
This place is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect and the hosts were so helpful, flexible, and quick to respond . Bedrooms and bathrooms are enormous. Great room is the perfect spot to watch football or movies . Great, stocked kitchen. For sure plan to stay there again! Highjy recommend .
Deceivingly large home,including a garage, tucked away on a cul-de-sac. Beautiful space with wonderful natural lighting and beautiful wood and stone throughout. So much space!! Loved the location, the home and all the professional appliances! Could live here indefinitely. Owners very easy to contact with extremely prompt responses. Definitely would stay here anytime we travel to SLC!
Spacious and Comfortable Home with Great Amenities
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this modern home. The property is more spacious than it appears from the street, and having a garage to park in was a nice bonus. The home setup was very comfortable, with quality kitchen appliances and an espresso machine that we loved using. Each bedroom is large and comes with its own bathroom, which added to our comfort. We spent a lot of time on the back patio enjoying our meals in the pleasant outdoor setting. The large downstairs room was perfect for movie nights. Thanks again to our hosts for providing such a great experience!
Check in was easy, great hosts and beautiful home. I’ll be looking to book again when I come to SLC.

Great location and immaculate house
We had a great stay in SLC, in no small part due to this wonderful house and the welcoming owners. Incredibly high end finishes everywhere in the house made for a relaxing stay. Centrally located and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone coming to town.

Clean, crisp, fresh and functional
We loved our stay at this beautiful and spacious home. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again. Location is great to public transportation, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms are too. The kitchen is fantastic. Great great place to stay.
To anyone visiting Salt Lake City, here’s your home away from home! This green home is a true emerald gem. Martine is an amazing hostess and only a phone call away for absolutely any reason. Truly cannot recommend this property enough AMAZING!!!
Spent three nights here with my wife and son. Property is true to description. This house is a beautiful custom build - the owner/builder lives just a few blocks away which is reassuring. Very responsive! Will definitely return!

Excellent stay in Salt Lake City!
This home was everything we hoped for and more. It was convenient to downtown attractions, activities and restaurants. It is as advertised; super clean, super convenient and super smart. The owners, John and Martine, could not have been more hospitable. They made the arrival and departure very convenient and gave us great tips for restaurants and activities in the area. We particularly liked the restaurant Niche, which is within walking distance of this property. The steam shower and spa tub were a heavenly end to a busy day of touring or hiking. We would definitely recommend this property without hesitation!
I was attracted to this listing for several reasons -- the gas fireplaces, the steam shower, and the presence of actual owners rather than a management company. I was not disappointed in any of these.
I spent five weeks at this property, working remotely, skiing, visiting family and friends, and taking advantage of SLC's easily accessible cultural opportunities. The University of Utah's Fine Arts Museum was an easy TRAX ride, two stops away. The Broadway, home of the Salt Lake Film Society, was an easy walk. Driving to any of the ski resorts was entirely doable.
The house is much bigger than what it appears from the outside. There are two master bedrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs. Both have desks, so suited to remote work. I enjoyed the light of the upstairs bedroom which had a comfortable desk (not a huge desk, but I had no trouble working there). After skiing (or really anytime), I loved the steam shower and the bath tub.
Jon and Martine were communicative and responsive. Truly delightful people. They live close by. I am much more comfortable with this kind of situation than an impersonal management company.
The 9th East TRAX station is steps away; the SLC Roasting Company is across the street, but the house also sports a luxury built-in coffee maker. The kitchen appliances are all of the highest quality.
The only thing this house lacked was a yoga mat as there is no carpeting. But all in all I was very happy with my choice.
This house is a gem and a bargain. Built by the owner with the best materials and attention to detail. Garage parking and steps from the TRAX public train system stop. Great location with many restaurants and nice grocery stores within walking distance. Highly recommended.
By far one of our best rental experiences. We stayed for a month working remotely and had a truly unforgettable experience. Martine and John were wonderful hosts, the house is incredible, and the location cannot be beat. Close to everything downtown, walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants, and 30-40 to Park City. The amenities in the house were luxurious and the internet was fast. We couldn’t have asked for more! Worth every penny and we hope to be back again soon. Thanks Martine and John!
The only reason I did not give them 5 stars for cleanliness was the lack of antibacterial soap pumps at each sink. This seems important during the covid pandemic.
The hosts were very friendly and met us at the house to give us a tour of their unique "green" house. The two ensuites are large and beautifully done. However, the shower in the master bathroom was not operating as a steam shower as advertised.
We had a minor issue with the shower in the downstairs not having hot water. The hosts did immediately come over and turned up the hot water issue which alliviated the issue.
The location is very convenient for walking to downtown and is just off of the light rail, but this home is not really in a "neighborhood" . It is a cluster of about 8 homes in a cul de sac just off a busy road. However, the house is so well built that noise is not an issue.
These are just minor issues. Overall, a convenient property for two adult couples.
The owners designed and built the home and each element was beautifully hand selected from natural stone, wood, and water features that make the stay feel like you are at a spa. From the steam shower to the waterfall tub and the incredible coffee machine - no element of the home was overlooked. The design is perfect and creates peace. Great location everything is walkable. Hosts went above and beyond coordinating special requests and giving us the tour of the home's features. What a treat to meet the creative minds behind the beautiful place. Will definitely visit again!
