This was a great spot to hang out! Cozy couch, a bright sunroom with a view and the hot tub was a bonus. I especially loved the trails close by as well being close to many amenities including Sugar House and the Mill Creek area.
This little place is clean and comfortable. The views from the deck of the city below are amazing, as are the sunsets. Take them in while soaking in a nice hot tub. There’s a little coffee and tea bar that’s well stocked, in addition to a kitchen that has all you need. We came for Memorial Day and found hiking sites within a walk or short drive away. I can only imagine how convenient it is for skiers. Either way you’ll want to try this property. We will be back. Thanks Matt for all the recommendations and for communicating so promptly with us.
Beautiful home and convenient location. 10/10, would love to make it back there someday. Matthew was attentive and replaced the keurig as soon as we mentioned it wasn’t working and was quick to get the hot tub back up after it lost power.
Matthew is quick to answer any questions you may have. This place is unique in a great location. If you are heading to Park City, you are going up I80 in the canyon within a minute of leaving the house. There is also a nice view of the city and mountains from the back deck.
We had a great vacation here! Stayed very cool in the 95 degree+ hot weather as they have good AC and this rental is the lower half of a house that stays in the shade. Beautiful sunsets from the deck and we could see the fireworks over the city. Close to a supermarket, quick drives to hiking, easy access to good restaurants. The property manager was responsive with questions. Would love to stay again for some skiing!
Loved our stay here. It was a quick drive to downtown Salt Lake and the Airport, but also super convenient for excursions into the mountains. The property is divided into an upstairs and downstairs, each for separate rental. We had the downstairs and another group had the upstairs. The two spaces are completely separate- we never saw the upstairs renters at all. The layout of the space is a little different but fun. The place has all the amenities you’ll need. Next time I’m in SLC I won’t hesitate to rent this place again.
You are only allowed two cars parked overnight during your stay! This information was not provided beforehand. We had a group of friends all driving in from out of state, and the neighbors complained.
Property was fantastic! Clean, all amenities you could want, coffee bar was a nice touch. The covered patio and hammock swings were the best part! I was out there most of the evening and in the morning with my coffee. Location was a mid century dream, the neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and safe. We took nightly walks and there were many residents walking dogs, families with strollers and people biking. Host was fast to respond and accommodating. We arrived late from our drive and he had the co-host turn the lights on for us. We also had a parking space in the driveway, no on the street. Would book again!!
This was a very cute place. Wish we knew there was an upstairs for rent as well. But it wasn't a problem till the cleaning people showed up at 8am and it sounded like they were coming through the floor. We didn't get to enjoy the closed in patio area in the evening like we wanted to due to no lighting. Also wish some of the trees were cut down for a better view. Could also update the outside patio seats they were all ripped up and uncomfortable. But all and all it was a super cute place for a small family group.
Nice home in a quaint neighborhood that overlooks SLC, close to the University of Utah. The house had all the amenities. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There are tenants that live above you though, FYI. The owner is very nice!
Thanks
We enjoyed our stay at this Mount Olympus Grandeur Mountain retreat! My teenage kids thought it was super fun and loved the hanging chairs on the porch... It was very clean and had all the amenities someone might need. The view of the city wasn't amazing from the deck, but I bet it is nice in the winter months and you could still see some nice glimpses! There are a couple of deck boards that need some attention, but it didn't stop my husband and I from enjoying our early morning coffee out there! We were there to drop our daughter off at college and found it was a nice location to the campus but also close to the many other things we wanted to see! We would highly recommend!
