"I enjoyed my two day stay so much I became a Marriott Bonvoy member. However, my last day was not a busy day and I asked if I could leave an hour later (1:00 instead of 12:00) and the lady at the front desk would not allow it. This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5."

"Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was not good though. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were pieces and Doritos and pretzels all around the floor. The furniture was very worn and damaged. The comforters were stained. I would not even sleep under them. The breakfast Buffett was decent. Nice eating area. Based on the cleanliness of the room though, I would not stay there again or recommend it."

"This is a no pet hotel but I have a registered service dog and at check in the receptionist gave me torment over having a dog. I know by law they can ask 3 different questions it’s in my paper work but she even wanted to know my medical condition and all and then s not allowed. She was rude! Never will I stay there again. She made me feel very uncomfortable there."

"In spite of outdated mess of of this property, the room was clean and the staff members were all very pleasant. Good choice for budget travel."

"This is a no-frills motel with no vending except an ice machine, BUT the service from the staff (I assume it’s the owner and family, as they’re always there) is top notch. We enjoy staying at Alpine. The rooms are clean and have a good amount of space. If you’re just looking for a good night’s sleep at a good price, this is a great place. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant, Puerto Nuevo, next door, as well as a good Italian restaurant. Several stores and restaurants around, too. Abingdon is a beautiful town."

"We had a suite which was a very large, clean room. The toilet flushed alarmingly slow but other than that we had an excellent stay."

"Staff was rude throughout stay- it felt like out was an inconvenience to them that you were there. Breakfast was put up 45mins before it actually ended. Will not ever stay here again. "
