Great place to stay with kids

African Queen is a perfect not-too-big and not-too-small gem of a hotel on Somone beach. Recently renovated, tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and perfect for relaxation. Staff is very helpful and generous with smiles. Food fresh and delicious...the whole experience was a feast for all senses. I higly recommend it and will be back for sure!

My flight into Dakar arrived very late, so I wanted to book a place nearby the airport (The drive into Dakar makes me crazy - it's always way longer than expected). I booked at La Villa Serere just for an overnight stay because of its proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle. I arrived at midnight and they had a driver waiting for me. Took me straight to the Villa. Only a 20 min drive, which for this area is great! The place is beautiful, a little oasis. Big nice room, comfortable...
