"The house was well appointed and had plenty of space for four people. Ample privacy as the bedrooms/bathrooms were at were at opposite sides. Great conveniences such as washer and dryer. A car is a necessity if you stay here as it in the countryside, but the area is quiet and peaceful. Everybody we encountered in the local community was friendly. We gave spoken to persons at Expedia who indicated that the host has to cancel the reservation first. We are still awaiting feedback and a full refund. Extremely disappointing. "The host was excellent and really tried to ensure that everything went smoothly. The house was comfortable with nice décor. The road to enter the property is quite steep so enter slowly. We went to Salybia beach about 8 minutes away and the water was lovely there. I felt that the pool was a bit disappointing as it is really a very small soaking tub, an above ground pool. The water does not look blue as featured in the picture. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. "

"The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. "
