"The place is only a couple minute walk to Samara Beach and about a 4 minute drive to Carillo Beach. Both are fantastic! The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you select some great adventures without getting ripped off. The food is top notch (and reasonably priced). Other restaurants are nearby too. The pool is small, but adequate to take a dip. The room was clean, and the A/C was great. There was a lot of room (we stayed in the King Suite The wifi was accessible everywhere on property, making staying connected to home and sharing our adventures on social easy. It also feels very private. The only downside comes down to preference. The bed was hard as a rock. If you like a firm bed, then perfect. We like medium firm. Maybe they would've had a mattress topper if we asked. But we persevered. Otherwise, for the price, this is an amazing find."

"The condo was spacious and clean and the host was very friendly and communicative. The kitchen was fully stocked with a lot of helpful instructions for the surrounding area. I would say that the noise from motorbikes on the main street was loud. Our room was right next to the street and it made it difficult for me to sleep at night; although no one else had issues. I used a noise cancelling headset which helped. There were a few tour companies nearby and all were around the same; the host was very helpful in letting us know what activities we could do. The beach was close and most of the restaurants were really good. I love Costa Rican food and coffee! Oh, and the host left us a bag of coffee and bottled water which was so very much appreciated since we ended up arriving much later than expected. Thank you!"

"Perfect location directly on the beach, quiet. Warm pool. A hundred yards from a great restaurant, 10 minutes on the beach to walk to downtown. Breakfast was basic (3 choices). wifi only worked in the breakfast area (has a great view). Friendly personal, they let us check in early. Book an A/C room! Basic room but clean and spacious. Met lots of really interesting guests! Would come again!"

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. The property is clean, well-decorated, and we felt very safe. The staff was very friendly and appreciated a friendly conversation. Many of the staff recognized my partner and me and remembered our drink orders. The pool is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, but we wish there were more pool chairs with umbrellas, as the sun is very intense. The beach is gorgeous with safe swimming access, which was a huge plus. The restaurants were great, but we were unsure about how to access the Nikoa restaurant and pool. We only stayed a week, and we thought that if we stayed longer, the food options would get old, which was why we were trying to figure out the other restaurants. The Nikoa pool and restaurant seemed like a super-nice, new part of the property that was hardly used at all. We also attended the free yoga classes on-site at the hotel, and the instructor was excellent. However, the hotel gym was old, dirty, and had no AC, which was crazy considering it's over 90 degrees every day. Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. We felt we got a lot of value for what we paid!"

"Gorgeous clean and well constructed property. Friendly staff. Very comfortable stay. Grounds were well maintained and very private from the outside town. Be advised there are two different locations, Residencias and Beachfront. We had a two bedroom unit with kitchenette in the Residencias. There looks to be several rooms above a restaurant at the Beachfront location. We had a 5 minute walk through town with access to the beach through the Beachfront location. Breakfast was NOT included in our stay but you could pay for a limited menu at the Beachfront location. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in all of Costa Rica! Absolutely gorgeous property, beautiful pool, clean rooms, the most comfortable beds, and wonderful made to order breakfast. Geraldine, the breakfast waitress is a delight! She's so funny and personable despite the language barrier. We traveled with our 3 year old and we were delighted to find toys and children's books in the lovely sitting area. Such a big help for parents! I'm so happy we stayed here!"
