Simple and basic

The weather was great. The host of hotel was verr helpful and kind. The hotel is smiple and basic. Rooms are clean and very basic. The car park is diffcult to park. Taxis passing through the road was very challanging. We had to pay to the chairs on the beach 10€ per chair per dat and that was not expected.

Great property with the most friendly staff. The entire place was very clean and short walk to the town and beaches. I came alone and felt very safe both during the day and night. 10/10 and will be coming back.

When we arrived at 8 pm the hotel was closed and we could not enter. We were forced to get a different hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible.

No value for money

Our stay at hotel Cattleya unfortunately was quite bud. By far not a 4star hotel, they are just overpriced rooms to let. Very hard to reach with the car with no parking. The rooms were clean but very small, with no mini fridge (though they brought one to the room the next day, after we asked for one), no shampoo, no tv, no place to hang out wet bathing suits and towels. No room service, there was only one staff member for a couple of hours in the morning. The breakfast was a joke, very small, no options and you couldn’t order more, one day I asked for an extra egg and they told me they didn’t have more. Do not recommended, no value for money.

We choosed this structure almost in a random way, but we had a wonderful surprise. The hotel is really lovely, with a marvelouse seaview. Mrs renee and katerina are very nice and kind persons, always smiling and ready to share a lot of tips about samos. We will tell all our friends and relatives where is the Half way for paradise.

Seaside Paradise

Fantastic location, amazing hospitality, gorgeous accommodations. We came because the reviews sing praises of Katerina and Renee's hospitality (they are, if anything, understatements!!) but we didn't realize what a wonderful location we had chosen. Hotel Cattleya commands an excellent view of Kokkari. It is literally steps away from seaside restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to Kokkari's magnificent beach, where you can have a massage with sea views. Our balcony at sunset was a sight to behold, with its view of the scenic port, the mountains, and of course the stunning sunset over the Aegean. Breakfast on the patio with Renee and Katerina was the height of service, taste, and style. Katerina gave us excellent recommendations that sustained us for the rest of our trip to Samos (visit Manolates, the Seitani beaches, and AAA Restaurant). Renee welcomed us warmly, and is the kindest soul you will ever meet. We hope to visit again soon!!!!

Toll gelegenes Boutique Hotel in Kokkari

Es war der bereits zweite Aufenthalt im Cattleya, weil es so einzigartig schön ist. Alle Zimmer bieten einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Kokkari. Man ist in 5 min im Ortszentrum von Kokkari, wo es eine große Auswahl an Lokalen und Geschäften gibt. Das Hotel selber liegt aber etwas oberhalb vom Ort. Man ist auch in 3 min am Strand. Das ist ein kleinerer Strand am östlichen Ende des Ortes. Im Gegensatz zum Hauptstrand von Kokkari ist man dort gegen Wind geschützt. Das hotel hat eine wunderschöne Terrasse, wo das Frühstück ganz besonders liebevoll von Katarina und Renée serviert wird. Es werden regionale Produkte verwendet und es ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alle haben einen Balkon. Neben der tollen Lage und dem Service ist besonders die Gastfreundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft von Renée und Katarina hervorzuheben. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal im Hotel Cattleya.

Best Boutique hotel

Cattleya is the best boutique hotel we have stayed. Renee is the best host and Katerina is her delightfully cheerful and capable assistant. The rooms are aesthetically traditional with sweeping views of the Aegean and specifically the picturesque Kokkori harbour. Daily breakfasts were individually crafted by Renee and beautifully presented by Katerina and delicious to the last crumb. You will definitely be pampered and will enjoy every minute of your stay. However the best proof of the popularity of this hotel is the large number of regular guests. We are looking forward to our next stay.

amazing sea view

This is a small 10 ~12 room hotel. Service is excellent and very personalized. The rooms have amazing sea view. The location is quite good, in close proximity of a nice beach and restaurants. However, you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the hotel. Nevertheless, 4-star rating in hotels.com is misleading. It should be listed as no star rating since it doesn't comply with any of the star ratings. The room is very basic with almost no amenities.

Wunderschöne Details

Traumhafter Aufenthalt/ sehr sehr sauberes Hotel /nette Gastgeberin / die Assistentin Katharina sehr herzlich und lieb/ Strandnah und nahgelegen Restaurants in Kokkari/ wer allerdings gesundheitlich mit Treppensteigen beeinträchtig ist wird hier Probleme bekommen/ das Hotel ist auf einem Hang mit herrlichem Ausblick über die Bucht / Nette kleine Details im Hotel Frühstück wird mit sehr viel liebe individuell Zubereitet schmeckt herrvorragend / Wir haben alles genossen Danke Renee und Katharina it was a great Holiday !

superschönes individuelles kleines Wohlfühl-Hotel

In diesem wunderschönen Boutique Hotel kann man von der ersten Minute an entspannen und genießen. Renee und Ihre Cruw sind überdurchschnittlich zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Es wird einem jeder Wuinsch - sofern möglich - erfüllt! Leider hatten wir nur 1 Woche Urlaub, konnten aber trotz der entspannten Atmosphäre total relaxen. Das Hotel liegt an einer wunderbaren kleinen Bucht mit sehr netter Bar. Wir fahren auf alle Fälle wieder hin und ich werde es allen meinen Kunden weiterempfehlen!

Wonderful hotel with lots of personal touches

We had a fantastic experience at this gorgeous hotel! A surprise breakfast every morning was provided by our very gracious hostesses Renee and Katerina. So many personal touches, and everything prepared with love and attention to detail. I highly recommend and will stay there again. Loved it!!
