"Wij verbleven van 3 mei tot en met 28 juli in dit appartement en hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad. Het appartement is comfortabel, de locatie is goed en de eigenaresse is vriendelijk en reageert snel. Toen de airconditioning defect raakte, werd dit direct opgepakt en snel gerepareerd. Dat was uitstekend geregeld.Wel vinden wij dat de advertentie op enkele punten duidelijker mag zijn. Er staat dat het appartement aan het strand ligt, maar dat hebben wij niet zo ervaren. Het strand ligt op loopafstand, maar niet direct aan het appartement.Handdoeken en beddengoed zijn bij aankomst inbegrepen. Bij een langer verblijf betaal je echter voor een wissel. Daarnaast vermeldt de advertentie dat er een ontbijtfaciliteit is, maar die is er niet. Op ongeveer 50 meter afstand bevindt zich wel een 7-Eleven waar je eenvoudig ontbijt en andere boodschappen kunt halen.Verder worden strandstoelen, strandlakens en een brandblusser genoemd. Wij hebben geen strandstoelen of strandlakens aangetroffen. De brandblusser bevindt zich op de begane grond, waardoor je vanuit het penthouse eerst vier trappen moet afdalen.Ondanks deze aandachtspunten hebben wij bijna drie maanden met veel plezier in het appartement verbleven. Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad en kunnen deze accommodatie zeker aanbevelen. De pluspunten wegen voor ons ruimschoots op tegen de genoemde verbeterpunten."

Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was delicious, the amenities were top-notch, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Every detail reflected outstanding service and hospitality. "Garrya Tongsai Bay Koh Samui is a hidden gem surrounded by lush tropical gardens and vegetation. From the moment we arrived, we were drawn to the resort's peaceful atmosphere. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cookies, which was a nice touch. Our room near the main pool area was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the bathroom was equally large and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The breakfast was good, although the selection was not as extensive as at some other resorts we have visited. The highlights for us were the egg station and the fresh fruit station. One drawback was that the breakfast area is not air-conditioned. Despite the fans placed throughout the restaurant, it felt quite hot during breakfast. We tried the restaurant on site. The food was amazing. It was very tasty and beautifuly presented. The beach was nice and clean, with soft golden sand and complimentary kayaks available for guests. While the beach was very pleasant, the water was not particularly clear during our stay. What we liked most about the resort was its overall ambiance. It is quiet and secluded, with fragrant frangipani trees and beautiful tropical flowers throughout the property. Overall, Garrya Tongsai Bay Koh Samui is a great choice for those seeking relaxation, nature, and tranquility. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach stay in Koh Samui."

"Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. We made so much use of the balcony, such relaxing couches to read and wind down in peace. The breakfast buffets were excellent, the hotel catered for our dietary requirements, even making my daughter gluten free, vegan pancakes and muffins! Shoutout to Chef Banana who did a Thai cooking class for me and my daughter, such a special experience. The kids club is lovely, plenty of activities for children to get involved with. The spa is fantastic, shoutout to Peng who provided the most relaxing massage I have ever had. The infinity pool and the room access pools were well maintained and clean, never felt too busy. The hotel is on a stretch of public beach where you can access water sports, food places, massages on the beach etc. Overall, one of the best stays we have had, all staff is friendly and helpful, food was delicious and the hotel itself was impeccable. Would love to return!"

"We made a last minute reservation at Skye Beach after accommodation woes and it was such a relief, firstly, to be met with warmth and enthusiasm by the reception team and secondly for the continued support and helpfulness throughout our stay - with a 2 year old. The 2 bed apartment was bright and clean, the room service food was always delicious. The apartment had everything one would need for a short trip. The hotel staff helped us book a taxi back to the hotel and kindly made us takeaway sandwiches for breakfast, this was super thoughtful as our flight was early in the morning - they even included drinks and a small carton of milk for my son. Thank you so much guys, your kindness came at a time when we needed it most, I’d recommend Skye Beach hotel and would stay again next time."

"Positives: 1) Location is good, next to high end properties. 2) the layout of the hotel is really nice, with lots of greenery, nice lobby and amenities, and spacious rooms. 3) The staff were very helpful and friendly. Responded well to calls and requests. 4) the breakfast is amazing. Lots of high quality items. They have healthy and gluten free options too. Negatives: 1) Whilst Location is good, it has nothing within walkable distance. Others were closer to the shopping areas. You can hear flights over the resort. 2) We were supposed to get 2 single beds for our boys, but got one sofa bed for 2, which wasn't a comfortable one. 3) the AC in the living room wasn't cooling. We had the technicians visiting twice but didn't really fix the issue. 4) the swimming beach is poorly maintained. We hit rocks and sea plants everywhere. No guests could swim. 5) the gym is average. Not a 5* resort standard."

"A fantastic location next to the sea with amazing views. The rooms are very comfortable with a rustic feel which fits in with the eco and sustainability focus of the hotel. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to stay for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Koh Samui."
