The stay at this location was good. It was quiet and convenient. The only complaint I have is that I booked a King size bed but was given a queen size bed. Also, the room did not have a remote for the tv the entire stay. Other than that, everything was good.

The staff was perfect and amazing. However, several issues came up. There was a burned out bulb in our room, the door wouldnt open or latch shut sometimes. Additonally, the tv remote was missing, the elevator feels like its about to break constantly and doesnt come to the upper floors after midnight for some reason. And our key cards stopped working two days before check out. This combined with the large amounts of construcrion that literally blocks most of the access to and from the hotel made it less than ideal.

Good place to stay

Great place to stay while visiting family. Had small issues while there. No towels in our bathroom and found a single shoe in closet in our room. Other then that is was a good stay.

Awesome stay!!

I had an awesome stay here in Schertz. This Candlewood is amazing. The bed was great. Awesome pillows. It was quiet.my room was by the entrance alongside the reception desk and it was surprisingly not loud whatsoever. The young Lady whom I forgot to get her name, was Awesome! Very attentive and gave me the rundown on the operation of the "store" if you will. They have free coffee 24/7. In a day and time where nothing is free...it was here! This is a great place to stay if you're into staying in a clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, type of place, well this is it. Definitely will make it a point to visit again.

Ice storm in Dallas

My SO could not drive back to the Dallas area on Monday night due to the bitter freeze, so we booked an additional night at Candlewood. The service was excellent! The room was clean! We’ve stayed here before and it never fails to satisfy us.

Great room, a lot of traffic noise. The ice maker in freezer did not work. We did not need a whole lot of ice anyway. Overall a really good room.

The Suite was so nice We loved the kitchenette area, my husband and I were able to fix breakfast without having to buy it. We had a small incident in the first room we had and they didn't hesitate to give us with another room. They apologized for the inconvenience . Overall , everything was nice and the staff was very helpful. I am going to stay there again when I go back to Sann Antonio, TX.

The staff was friendly and helpful! Next to the freeway with construction made some rooms noisy. Some of the pots and pans were worn and could use replacements. The shower curtains could be longer to keep the shower water in the tub. The pullout bed was slightly better than sleeping on the floor. Overall, good. Would stay there again.

The hotel had a strong oder of smoke as we walked into the lobby. Then our room also had the smoke oder. When we showed water ran all into the bathroom. We had to use the towels to dry the floor. The bed was comfortable.

House keepers need to be retrained.

The lobby staff was very polite. I met all 4 of them at my door when there was some confusion about my check In. 😂 The problem was with the cleaning crew. Since I had a dog, the first day I left my dog in the room and I told the cleaning staff all I needed was towels, coffee and creamer. She was a young lady Caucasian with blond long hair. Very nice and got me all I needed. The second day I was leaving for 4 hours and told the cleaning lady in the hall if she could clean my room in that window. She told me she would try but had other rooms to clean. I then asked if she could just put towels and coffee there. And that never happened. I had to go get it myself at the lobby. And that was theee hours after I called down for it and it just could not get delivered. The next day I asked a thin lady with short black hair for towels and coffee. She almost ran to get it for me. The last day I was there I went to see the Alamo and was going to ask to have the room cleaned. I went to the room where the male housekeeper was at and looked in. He was sitting in the chair with his eyes shut and headphones on. I said screw it. I got my own stuff again. So in 4 days my room was never cleaned or bed made. I did the cleaning. Half The cleaning staff were worthless. Everyone else was super nice. I always leave a $25 tip for the housekeepers. It this is the first time I walked away without leaving a tip. Just because of two that made all of them look bad.
