A 💎 hidden gem in the ruckus of san antonio. The breakfast was hot and filling! They had omelets, even egg white omelettes one of the mornings and while they dont have these Texas Waffles anymore, they do have pancakes & real honey! and they also have bagels & cream cheese :) The rooms were clean and smelled fresh! The water coming from the tap did initially smell mouldy but after leaving hot water on for a minute, it dissipated. Just a 10 minute stroll down the area to the riveewalk or a 7$ lyft ride back.

The hotel is in a historic building so the outside is older and the rooms were smaller; however, the comfort and service were as good as it gets. Ivette at the front desk allowed us to check in early, and we were grateful because we had a very early flight. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One of the best aspects was the daily breakfast - cheesy omelets, biscuits and gravy, freshly ground and brewed coffee. The location was about 5 blocks to the riverwalk, two blocks from the historic Mexican market and one block from the Spanish governor's palace. I found this hotel to be a great value.
