My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Kathi and Dan were incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy, the amenities were everything we needed, the location was ideal, and overall it was an excellent stay. We especially enjoyed the Christmas decorations and how the cabin smells like cedar when you first walk in. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone else interested!

We really enjoyed our stay at this sweet little cabin! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Dan and Kathy were excellent hosts and definitely went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The cabin was clean, had all the comforts of home, including a full size kitchen and was beautifully appointed. The location was in the beautiful hill country of Texas and was located close to many activities for all age groups. It was a perfect get away for two to enjoy the quiet country setting, but close enough to travel to other hill country towns or to San Antonio. We look forward to returning one day.

Wonderful Getaway!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary here!!It was secluded and surrounded by nature!We saw a couple of deer and even an owl!!The hosts, Kathi and Dan, were great! They gave us our space, but let us know that they were just a text or call away, if needed.We wished we could have stayed longer!

A great Texas get away!

We enjoyed the lovely Stoney Porch Cabin in the Texas hill country. The cabin was very clean and had every thing that we needed for our home base as we explored the hill country. It was fun to come back to our cabin after a days outing. Dan and Kathi have an adorable, well appointed cabin.

We loved it here! The online photos are great, but the actual experience was even better. Very clean, simple and nice. 20 minute drive to the city. Beautiful country atmosphere. Excellent communication from hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

If there were a 10 star rating, this place and their owners deserve it. The attention to detail, and the respect and love of nature - as well, as the kindness and attentiveness of the owners are the best I’ve experienced in a Vrbo rental. We will definitely be coming back. If you’ve never visited the “Hill Country” of TX, this is a great base to explore, get advice/suggestions of restaurants/attractions…it would have been an awesome trip had we not left the cabin! Deer, birds, every morning and at sunset, there is something to see. I’ve lived and traveled all over the Americas, and this is now one of my favorite places. We will be coming back!

My husband and I had a wonderful time during a recent trip to the Texas hill country (and during an arctic blast!) Cute and cozy after wedding spot

We stayed here after getting married in Bulverde at Lost Mission. Had a fantastic time at the wedding and this cabin gave us a nice little cozy spot to stay afterwards and have a nice relaxing evening with a nice relaxing morning the day after. If we ever need to stay in the area again we will definitely keep this spot in mind!
