"I was disappointed with the air conditioning. It was insufficient cooling for the persistent heat and humidity. It was hard to get to sleep and I woke every day in soaking sweaty sheets. It was the only let down in an otherwise amazing holiday."

"Staff brilliant. Room brilliant. Really enjoyed my stay, and made good use of most of the facilities. Lots of variety in the buffet restaurant. If you’re looking for a retreat then this is great, and would look forward to another visit. Hotel location may not suit everyone as it’s more than a short walk to the seafront. Not such a big issue for me as I felt that the seafront area was in need of a major upgrade - feels like it’s from a bygone era, so chose not to go there after the first time. Overall very happy with the hotel, suited my wishes perfectly. Resort needs to be rejuvenated somehow - perhaps a victim of too many ‘All Inclusives’."

"Great self catering accomodation with good size bedroom, bathroom and lounge/diner/kitchenette. Cleaned daily. Warm welcome from all the staff. Good bar and bar food. Lovely pool. Busy at weekend with visitors, but more tranquil in the week."

"Enjoyable stay , good breakfast with a lot of variety well laid out , excellent facilities pool gym plenty of sun beds comfortable beds room neees updating but plenty big enough - and very comfortable bed maid was in every day to tidy up - Very good central location for the yumbo and not far from bus stops or taxi ranks "

"Food options were good, themed evenings. Lots of fruit. Bedroom and balcony overlooked the pool, which was lovely. The hotel bus shuttle is very useful. Pool areas were good, we particularly enjoyed the family pool. Plenty of sun beds in the morning when we went. We did two Barcelo experience trips which were fantastic. Staff were polite and pleasant."
