We especially loved the attention to detail—everything from the quality of the linens to the complimentary amenities exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful enough for a restful night. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options. "5*+ rating for this special hotel in Bologna. For my first trip to Italy, my stay at this hotel made the entire experience that much more special. From the moment I checked in, to when I checked out the entire concierge team were welcoming, friendly and gave great tips on what to do and where to go. I was very surprised to have received a room upgrade - west facing, simply the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in and, a gorgeous bathroom with decent water pressure. If I had an extra day to my trip, I would have spent it in the hotel really taking advantage of the bar, lounge and restaurant. Or, just sleeping in - the bed was that comfortable. When I return to Bologna, I will only stay at Savhotel Aemilia."

"Excellent choice of accommodation with self catering kitchenette, and laundry services which is very convenient in the heat of the Bologna summer! A nice alternative to a traditional hotel. Hotel very close to some very cool bars and restaurants, you do not have to go far to find a very vibrant nightlife. Can be a little noisy at night especially at weekend but this is only a minor issue as everything else about the place was perfect. "
