This house is located on top of a hill, with amazing views of the sea of Cortez and Tetakawi Mountains, also within walking distance to the Club de Golf and 1 mile to the bars and restaurants near the beach. The house is located in a cul-de-sac so no traffic and a very safe area.
This house has no pool but there are options with public pools in the area.
Beautiful home on a private street complete with beaches nearby and mountain views. The entire bottom floor would be yours with a patio ideal for outdoor grilling and reunions. Walking distance to the Golf Course, Bar, and Olympic-sized public pool, with a bar and grills to make your steaks by the pool.

Our guests have access to the entire bottom floor of the duplex and two spaces to park their vehicles. Access to the 18-hole golf course, public pool, and a bar all within walking distance. The house also comes with a washer and dryer, grill, smart TV, and filtered water but we always recommend buying bottled water when traveling.

This place is great! I highly recommend it. It was very clean, location is unbeatable, great community and communication. We will definitely be staying here again. We scuba in San Carlos and itās real close to the marina, and the town. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
Property was as advertised. Newly renovated and looks fine. View of sea and harbor good. The apartment was well-stocked with kitchen wares and linen. Beds were comfortable for sleeping. Would stay here again.
This is a lovely property. The space is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Frank is an excellent host and communicated promptly to all our requests.

I enjoyed my stay. The unit had great views of the ocean and Tetakawi. The property was clean and well stocked with tenant directions well marked. The only inconsistency was the differences between the welcome e-mail and direct communication with the owner. Letter stated 1 pm checkout, the owner messaged me with a noon check out. The security was great and I enjoyed the keyless entry. There were other minor inconsistencies, but nothing that would prohibit me from discouraging anyone.There is construction in the area and the road within the complex could be better, but is beyond the owner's purview. I would recommend this unit.
We had a long stay while working on our boat in Marina Seca. Easy walking distance and it was always a relief to come home to air conditioning! The apartment is very clean with beautiful views from the bedrooms and deck. The owner had requested feedback and acted on that feedback immediately (ie - bathroom trashcan with lid, shower head) with new and improved items. Easy extension of rental when things on the boat didnāt go to plan. Frank was very easy to get in touch with for any of our needs. Just overall a very nice stay!!

Not as expected
Check in was not smooth. Door code was delayed in activation. We had to seek help in order to contact owner. With no WiFi accessible on our phones, we could not use WhatsApp. Also the WiFi is rather weak in this unit once we got logged on.
Photos on the website are not the same as the actual unit. Different couches are shown which changed our expectations. We have encouraged the owner to update the website.
Be aware that the main bathroom is between the two bedrooms and must be shared. Powder room bathroom at the entrance has no hot water. One sliding door is badly cracked and taped. We did not want to use it so had to walk through our friendsā bedroom. The patio is good with a lovely view of Tetakawi. Rooms were nice and clean.
The āplasticā kitchen dishes need to be replaced as they are stained. Cutlery knives are minimal although there are lots of sharp knives. Pots and pans are good but one frying pan has a loose handle. Sink stoppers do not fit properly so we used a flat rubber from the shower to hold water in the sink. The oven never started and no reply from the owner about it.
Laundry room is good and even has a little clothesline for items to be hung.
Bath towels could be replaced as they have stains. With four adults sharing the bathroom, there was only one small towel bar. Recommend adding a towel rack for drying. The AC/heater units worked beautifully.
Even with all these issues with the unit, we still enjoyed our month in San Carlos.
Place was super clean inside and has very comfortable beds. We had an issue with the door lock originally but the owner responded quickly and had everything working. We would stay there again without hesitation.
We stayed 3 nights. Everything was great. Communication with property manager and assistant was very good. The place was very clean organize and had everything we needed. Neighbor hood was safe and quiet. We would stay again.
Nice clean spacious well accoutered place with spectacular views. A bit hard to locate as street signs are absent.

I has to modify mybstsy, and followed instructions from VRBO to go thru host. Host acknowledged my request an accepted. I was not sent check in info until after 10:30pm the day of modified check in. I had to find alternate lodging due to late response. Yes, I had reached out earlier in day to host. Response was, VRBO changed back to original dates. WIFI really bad. I could not work in the home as a result of how bad it was. Road to the apt is in need of serious repair.
Let me first start by saying that Frank was one of the best hosts we have had. He was so accommodating and quick to respond to any questions that we had. The house was exactly as described with so much room to spread out and relax. He does accept pets which is our number one concern when booking and the house is perfect for dogs. The sunsets over the mountains in the evening were stunning and then the dawn lighting them up in the morning was beautiful as well. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice duplex, owner lives upstairs and has "remote access" to A/C and other ammenities; this did impact us a bit as it was extremely hot when we arrived on the afternoon of our arrival date. But, he did eventually get the thermostat turned down to acceptable levels. We understand the eco friendly concerns as we too, live in a hot climate; with AC and solar panels to keep our home operational. Cost of electric should be figured into the rental rate. Because older guests like myself do need to stay cool for health reasons.Washer didn't work (nor the "remote access") so that kept us without clean clothes and towels for our big adventure day on Saturday --but, the owner did do our laundry and deposit it on the sofa for us to fold later in the day; very nice.Overall, we love San Carlos and have always had a sort of "love hate" relationship with places to stay, host was nice! The bugs were horrid this year AND the streets leading to the property are pretty hard on cars!View was incredible for the most part; :) Thanks for allowing us to stay in your property.
First, the property owner was very timely with responses, courteous, and very helpful. All questions were answered and check in instructions were clear. We had one small complaint (loud neighbors), but he addressed it immediately. Itās in an ideal location. The golf course area is a bit run down, but the home is near all amenities. 15 mins from Algodones beach, about 25 mins Miramar in Guaymas, and restaurants within a few minutes. The home looks great and has everything. Comfortable beds, good shower, A/C, accessible washer/ dryer, and great views from the patio.

Internet was spotty at best. No water one afternoon and very low pressure once the tanks were filled. Alarm kept going off in the night. Had difficulty contacting owner. Was instructed to pull unit off wall, unplug it and stash it under a mattress in a bedroom we werenāt using. Advertised shampoo, conditioner etc but were empty. No hand soap in half bath dispenser.
