Fabulous stay in Chiapas

We had a wonderful Time - hotel is very stylish and comfortable and the staff are fantastic - friendly and charming. The food in the restaurant was extremely good too for breakfast and dinner with local ingredients and all with the chefs little twist on things. I look forward to returning

The team at Sombra del Agua went above and beyond to make our recent trip a truly unforgettable experience. Not only did they provide exceptional accommodations and service at their beautiful hotel, but they also facilitated a fabulous dinner for our large group. The beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect. The hotel used to be an old home, so there isn’t the best insulation. They have a sister hotel that has more updated rooms and a spa & gym. Both restaurants are amazing.

Great stay in one of the suites, which was huge and had a fabulous terrace. Staff amazingly helpful and friendly. Short walk to the pedestrian street going through town, but not too noisy. Great restaurant in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with excellent food. The courtyard is a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning or dinner at night, when they light a fire creating a great ambience. Staff were great. Very good central location but the hotel itself is really calm and tranquil. Really nice toiletries provided. Excellent value for money.

Very good hotel!

This is a really good hotel. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. We had a challenge working the tv and the safe in the room didn’t work, but in spite of that we would stay here again. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent!

Beds and sheets are so comfortable, rooms as well. The restaurant has a great menu with local and internacional ingredients that are unique. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. The location of the hotel is on a very convenient place near the Cathedral, restaurants, bars and many other establishments. You walk and explore all the area. I recommend it for sure.
