At first glance, the proximity of this property to Gaslamp Quarter and all the nice restaurants and museums in the area made it a clear cut winner. The well-placed camera angles in the pictures made it seemed that this property was remodeled and everything was neat and clean. Things took a downturn, however, once we checked-in into the property. The door handle of the entrance was slightly loose (safety concern). The living room sofa (shown in the picts with pillows) had no pillows but most importantly, it had stains. The horizontal blinds on the dining table (conveniently lifted in the photo) were torn in such a way that when they were shut there was no privacy due to the missing blind slats. The kitchen had stains in both the counter but also in the sink. The stove was missing knobs for certain burners. The whole house smelled of mildew to the point where we have to purchase candles and spray disinfectant. The door that lead to the side house was rotten in various corners to such extent that you could actually see daylight through holes. Lastly, the description said “Free street parking everyday” but in reality that would only work if once you parked you didn’t move your car rental throughout the whole stay. After 4-5pm it was impossible to find a parking so the best bet was to take a Lyft/Uber to nearby areas. Unless they fix all the serious flaws in this property, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
