- Discover the Minty Surf House, a 2-bedroom bungalow in central San Diego that guests call the "best beach house not located on the beach." Step into an open floor plan aqua-tiled kitchen, living room and dining room where natural light creates sun-drenched mornings. Our cozy bungalow features one and a half bathrooms, making it perfect for families or friends traveling together. The deep and private deck/backyard will blow your mind -- it's a tropical oasis where guests can enjoy a peaceful retreat from the everyday hustle. Hawaiian ginger, gardenia, plumeria, hibiscus and more bloom year round. We have comfy chaises to chill and read a book or you can play corn hole under towering bird of paradise.
Shower al fresco in our outdoor shower. With heating and AC, comfort is guaranteed no matter the season. Whether you’re relaxing at Minty or exploring nearby spots, this surf chic bungalow offers a perfect home base. You will be centrally located to the Zoo, Balboa Park, fun bars and restaurants, San Diego State University and only a 15 minute drive to the beach (depending on traffic of course.) It’s easy to see why you’ll want to come back again and again to our little slice of SoCal heaven.
