Fantastic beach property

Had a great time with 10 adults and 5 kids, great for doing some of our own cooking, and just a short path straight to a really nice beach. Minutes away from Seaworld and about 15 minutes to the Zoo. There is a quaint amusement park 1 block away. We were able to park 3 cars on property and to more for free nearby! Again, a fantastic time!

Good house and nice location

Overall the properly was great for our needs! Nice location close to the beach and plenty of space for all of our guests. The home is 3 stories and the stairs were pretty steep, so that was a downside. Owner was super responsive and nice to work with. Nice place to stay, would stay here again.

Great Extended Family Trip

The home had plenty of space for us and all five bedrooms had their own full bath. Most windows had power shades; a big plus. Gas stove in kitchen annd gas grill in courtyard were great to cook on. Everything worked well, except the spa/hot tub. We didn’t miss it, though, as there were plenty of other things to do. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, the beach AND the bay. Great location.Hosts were very responsive to inquiries. The elevator was useful for this 3-story home.

Great place, great location

The process was very easy, the hosts were very communicative and accommodating in regards to check in, and some questions we had. No complaints, everything at your fingertips. Hottub was a great added bonus to the house !

Great Location

We had a family gathering for a wedding. This home was perfect with the number of people we had attending. It's an easy walk to the Pacific and the Bay. There are numerous restaurants nearby and the home was very nice. We would stay here again.

Great for larger family

Nice location. Plenty of room for all. A few items were in need of repair but overall it was good. The elevator was a very helpful to take luggage and groceries up to 3rd level.

Great Property

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and everything was great. With a large group of women it was super convenient that every bedroom had a bathroom. The proximity to the water was amazing and everything was super walkable. The only thing we were unable to find was the garbage & recycle cans that belonged to this house.

Family reunion

Our stay was great. Having the MBR on the main level along with the elevator was key for my parents. The location was walkable to beach, boardwalk, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice. Two laundry areas was great as well and we enjoyed the hot tub! Only drawback for large group is there isn't enough seating at one table or couch area for a large party - we were 9 people. We would recommend this property to enjoy all San Diego has to offer.

Great family get together

My family of 10 had a great time in the home and thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to Mission Beach and the boardwalk. For a home with 5 bedrooms, the space for dining, including tables and chairs and counter space was a bit limited tight. Could use a larger table and more chairs.

Great option for a large group

The location was perfect to enjoy beach activity, as well as close to shops and restaurants. It also served as a great option to house 5 couples with each having private bathrooms adjacent to the bedrooms. The elevator was also helpful for those who had difficulty climbing stairs. Parking was a bit challenging if you had more than 2 vehicles - would recommend utilizing one or two small to midsize car(s) or SUV(s) for best fit in the garage. A small car or SUV can also be parked directly behind the garage.

Beautiful home very close to the beach

Beautiful home very close to the beach and shops. Kitchen is on third floor which can be a lot at times. Beautiful rooms. Only major downside was that the AC units are on a timer and shut down making house hot. Only an issue one month out of the year. I also wouldve like the bedroom patio to be functional and expected a TV in each bedroom for the price. Not big deal.

Amazing location and nice house

Overall, the house looked great and it’s the perfect location! The check-in process was easy and the house was clean. However, the online listing stated it had 2 “anywhere beds” that were not available during our stay. When I called the property manager to see why there are discrepancies, I was yelled at and told to send photos of the listing instead of them just checking themselves. Besides this, the stay was fine.

Best EVER!

My family and I came to San Diego for Thanksgiving. I booked this well in advance and the photos they have listed were beautiful. It’s right between Mission Beach and Mission Bay so close to the beach we did lots of bike riding boardwalk there we did whale watching there are lots of things to do here. Bring your bikes. They have ample beach toys. They have ample big beach towels. The beds are beautiful and comfortable. The couches are lovely. The kitchen is huge and open, five bedrooms and six bathrooms could be better. Had to share bathroom when we walked in clean. They had ample utensils serving dishes and they had a washing machine upstairs and a washing machine downstairs. The kids had the best time ever our teenagers had the best time ever because you can walk to Starbucks, which is important to them ha ha It’s right by arcade amusement park. The teens were over there if they weren’t at the beach very communicative very friendly. They spell everything out. There’s never any question with check or check out. I have lots of things listed where things go. We’re definitely staying with them again this was the best , modern three-story house that my family and I have ever

Family Vacation

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 10 adults that stayed in the property, and 2 others that stayed nearby and visited during the day. We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and work with. This property is great for larger groups.The only nit-picky item that we had was that the fridge and freezer and the floors were a little unclean upon checkin. Nothing major, just small spills in the fridge/freezer that had not been cleaned, and sand everywhere on the floors (it's right by the beach, so there's going to be sand everywhere :D). We easily cleaned these up during our stay, and they didn't detract from our experience.

I loved that our entire party of 16 people could fit inside one home with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I also loved how close it was to the beach. The downside was there was sand all of over the floor of the entire home when we first got there. It was as if no one cleaned the floor prior to us getting there. I couldn’t find a mop, broom or vacuum cleaner to clean the floor myself. We just ended up wearing shoes around the house. Word of advice, don’t use the stone table in the courtyard. There is a small sign posted to the front door as you leave the house (easy to miss) that says don’t move the table and that it is extremely heavy. One person in our party sat on it and the leg of the bench broke. We now don’t get our deposit back because the owner needs to fix the bench. The table will be out of commission for the next few months, says the owner. So anyone that rents this place after the outdoor table/bench is fixed, just be careful.

Short Stay

Beautiful property that needs some maintenance. The elevator didn’t work, the window in the master suite didn’t close, the drain in the master bath was slow/clogged, the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on. There was so much stuff in the garage we couldn’t get two cars in. The WiFi was spotty such that I didn’t get messages from the host. This was only our second VRBO booking but, I don’t remember such draconian contracts to sign. We only had a couple of days to spend in Mission Beach so we chose this property after getting rejected by a couple of hosts, we should have booked a hotel.
