Summary:

First and foremost it will be an honor for us to host one of our units and share our love for San Diego with you. We invite you to celebrate life and get to know our exquisite city. San Diego is a melting pot of cultures. Your stay is in heart of San Diego. Our apartment is a walking distance from Balboa Park, San Diego Downtown, and Little Italy. Five a minute walk to Hillcrest and a mile far from Airport. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.



The Neighborhood:

We are on the corner of Fir St and Sixth St in San Diego. Right across Sixth St is Balboa Park, one of the top destination attractions San Diego has to offer. You will find amazing Museums surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Walking through Balboa Park you will also find a lot of local vendors and artists. You can do your morning run at the park and enjoy Sunny San Diego. Conveniently located on sixth avenue and a CVS a block away from outside of the building. You will be within walking distance from restaurants and coffee shops.

San Diego International Airport

Seaport Village,

Little Italy,

Gaslamp Quarter,

and San Diego Convention Center are minutes away by car or a short Uber/Lyft ride.



Getting Around:

Having a vehicle is ideal anywhere in California but not necessary when staying at this apartment. You will find many things are at a walking distance or short Uber/Lyft ride. Electric Scooters available around the building and you can ride or walk to Downtown San Diego, Little Italy and Balboa Park Museums. The San Diego airport is 2.4 miles to our apartment, that is usually a couple minutes’ drive.

Tired city apt

The fact that the only picture was of the patio should have told me something. And no reviews in over a year. The apt smelled heavily of cleaner but our feet/socks were black by bedtime and we had to wash. I took a picture of what I felt was black mold in bathroom and a hole in the couch. You are directly under the flight path but that wasn’t a big issue unless we sat outside

Very Good Location

It was perfect for an overnight stay. I wanted to stay longer but we went to a concert at Petco Park and only stayed the night.

Clean well furnished new apartments (2021)

Apartments are on newer side and clean. Bathroom/shower has hot water with good pressure. Neighborhood is okay (some homeless which is a problem in all urban CA cities). Was able to find street parking in the middle of the day but is hard to find late at night/early morning. Bigger issue was the sound of the airplanes landing at the airport since location is in the flight path. It's ok after doors/windows are closed but still could definitely hear inside. About 1 every 15min or so; thankfully they seemed to stop at night after 11ish.
