The house was delivered as promised. The profile describes it accurately, and the property was clean and well-kept. Communication with the owner was very fast/responsive (although we didn't have any real issues, so there wasn't much need). My friends and I had a wonderful time. Would stay again! )
Very comfortable house with lovely decor! Lots of room for our family of 7 plus in-laws to rest. Kitchen was small but functional. Dining room could also fit everyone, which was a nice surprise. Another nice surprise - lots of books! The kids actually spent a lot of time looking at the books! Close to many San Diego tourist attractions. Evan was a great host. Instructions were very clear and we had no problems at all. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay at this house! Very comfortable accommodations and easy parking. The patio and yard were lovely to be able to be outside. We ended up having 6 adults and 3 kids which felt comfortable and not too tight.
This house was perfect for a group of 10 of us for a bachelor party. Literally 15 minutes from anything in SD and had enough rooms and beds for everyone. Definitely recommend this spot!
Quiet neighborhood on low traffic street. We loved the beds and pillows. Easily got on roads to places like safari park and La Jolla to see the seals. Living room pretty comfortable. Overall we were happy with this house.
Great location. Short drive to zoo, Balboa Park, grocery store and restaurants. House has stairs and found it convenient owners provided baby gates for safety. Perfect grassy area for toddlers to roam and play.
Stayed here for a few days. House was clean and communication with host was great. Overall it was nice. The only downside was the kitchen was a little dated, water pressure was not the best when both showers were going and there was a fishy smell when we arrived. Overall, it was a fine stay.
We had 9 people and 3 generations staying at the house. There was enough space for everyone, and lots of great outdoor spaces so people could be hanging out in smaller groups when they wanted.
The location is perfect too — 20 minutes to the beach and less to the airport, lots of restaurants nearby, but in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again.
Great location, house was perfect for our large group!
The property is located in an ideal location convenient to so many places - Old Town, SeaWorld, beaches, etc. Had a wonderful stay. Alerted the manager about several concerns. Overall, a wonderful experience.
A group of business colleagues rented this house for a team building weekend during a professional conference. The house was spacious, clean, beautiful, and perfect for our needs. The outdoor space was perfect for our small gathering and everyone remarked on how lovely it was. Would highly recommend!
This house was so spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable, the appliances were great and convenient to have, and on top of all this the decor of the interior of the house was so so so cute! House was close to all restaurants, bars, shops. This was a wonderful weekend!! Hospitality was fabulous! Completely recommend this house!!
3 families traveled to San Diego over winter break. The 12 of us fit comfortably, although I wish there were more beds. We did take advantage of the air mattress and it worked great on the second floor. I would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect for visiting the zoo and downtown SD. Thank you.
Amazing property! Perfect for my Bachelorette gathering. The 8 of us were very comfortable. Location is great and rooms are well appointed. Love the outdoor spaces as well as indoor common spaces. My favorite is the second floor living room. Great decorating too. Wish there was central AC though. Overall exactly what my group needed. Very communicative host as well. I would stay here again!
Truly was such ann incredible spot! Evan took such great care of us and made everything so easy with our whole check in process and communication throughout the trip. With 10 girls, everyone was very comfortable and had plenty of space to get ready for our different events. The kitchen was well prepped for cooking and we were able to have delicious meals all together! One downside, the backyard had lots of cobwebs and spiders so we ended up not using it as much as we thought we would, but loved the outdoor space upstairs and the grill was great! Definitely would come stay here again!
The host was very friendly and the house had a lot of room. It’s difficult to find a place with 3 king size beds and enough sleeping space for 9 people- and the beds were very comfortable. And this house had a kitchen table that could accommodate 9- also hard to find. It was very nicely decorated and the back deck and rooftop grill were great. Our only drawbacks were that it wasn’t great for a cooking vacation and we all like to cook. The stove didn’t work well, there weren’t enough forks for the nine of us and we couldn’t find a blender to make mixed drinks. We made a big pasta dish but couldn’t find a colander. Also, the sofa in the main living room was very uncomfortable with no support at all. Fortunately the sectional upstairs was very comfortable but we had trouble getting the tv remotes to work for that tv. The location of the house was great- everything we wanted to see was close by.

A Comfortable home
The bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas were all very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces were cute and comfortable. Overall it’s a great house.
The kitchen was a little disappointing. The paint on the cabinets was peeling and left residue on the pots, pans, dishes. I did a load of dishes and flatware before we used them because they all seemed dusty and had paint residue on them. For a house that can accommodate 11 guests, a few more plates and forks would be helpful.
Overall, a great house and we had a great week.
The house was really cool - very clean and comfortable. Lot's of cool features we all found charming. Beds were very comfy. There is no air conditioning but San Diego isn't usually as hot as it was while we were there. Owner had lots of fans and we were able to cool off and sleep comfortably at night. San Diego is an old town and the neighborhoods have been around a long time. It's hard to know what kind of neighborhood you're getting when you book. The neighborhood was more worn out than I hoped but the price was affordable for such a large house. Parking was fine. The host was very attentive.
The house is in a great quiet neighborhood, with plenty of parking (a couple in driveway, but also street parking available).
We were there for USD graduation last week, and our family plus extended family stayed together for the long weekend celebration.
We appreciated the large empty fridge and freezer for our various foods and beverages. There were not quite enough forks or dining table chairs for our 11 guests (used the bench and living room seats to supplement), but there were plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and baking dishes for us to prepare meals at the house. We even used the BBQ!
The house was fairly clean, with basic toiletries in each bathroom. Towels and linens were nice, too. The hot water was a little slow to warm, but plenty hot once it reached the particular faucet for use.
All in all, a wonderful weekend at Evan’s 5 bedroom house in Linda Vista! Thanks so much!
