Location: Luquillo, Puerto Rico, is a quaint and tranquil little seaside village, uniquely located 40 min. from San Juan International Airport, 10 minutes from El Yunque Rainforest entrance and 10 minutes from Fajardo.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or spending quality fun times with your family, our condo is the perfect place.

Of the 3 buildings in the Playa Azul complex, building #1 is the only one located right on the beachfront. This beautiful apartment, is located on the 12th floor of Playa Azul, building #1, with an amazing panoramic view of the ocean, Throughout the apartment, floor-to-ceiling windows provide a cool ocean breeze and breathtaking views. Ceiling fans keep the apartment cool.

The apartment is well furnished. Two air-conditioned bedrooms overlook the ocean, each with full private bath and walk-in closet. (One has a queen size bed and French doors opening onto the balcony; the other has 2 queen beds and a spectacular view of the ocean). A well equipped kitchen includes a 4 burner stove, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, coffee pot, a countertop oven and a microwave oven. The living room has a 60-inch flat screen Smart HD-TV with cable and wireless Internet connections.

Amenities on the premises include: Private parking lot, a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. There is full security at the front gate and lobby. Amigo Supermarket, Walgreens Pharmacy and a Banco Popular ATM are available within walking distance.

Located in front of the Building #1, the Playa Azul Beach is not usually crowded and the sand is clean. Beach chairs and a small cooler are available in the wood box on the balcony for your use. If you prefer a beach with calmer waters, including amenities and lifeguards, the famous Balneario Monserate Luquillo Beach is only a few minutes drive from Playa Azul. A bit further, are the famous 'Kioskos of Luquillo' where you can delight in good local cuisine. Otherwise, you can drive to more upscale restaurants in the area.

The apartment has a guest book with suggestions of where to eat and activities available in the area. You can hike to beautiful waterfalls or zip-line in the rain forest, book a snorkel trip, kayak on the bioluminescent bay, scuba dive in Fajardo, rent jet skis at Luquillo Beach, go horseback riding or ride go carts at Hacienda Caraballi, go to the casino at a nearby resort hotel or take day-trips to Old San Juan, Ponce or the Camuy Caves.

Beautiful place

This was an excellent place to stay. The condo was far beyond my expectations. Friendly staff, great location, and great views. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the balcony was a special treat for my elderly sister.

Communication was excellent and the condo was very clean. The location was perfect and just steps away to a very family friendly beach. The view was incredible! Also got some delicious rum cakes from Bonnie.

Beach vacation

This is a beautiful, well maintained condo within steps of a lovely beach. There are several restaurants and a great convenience store within an 1/2 mile walk. The owner and property manager are attentive and very kind.

Nice accommodations

The apartment is within walking distance to many delicious restaurants and a nice calm beach is 1/2 mile drive. Home is stocked with spices, laundry detergent and beach gear. The neighbor down the hall makes delicious rum cakes and has the sweetest pup, Pupido who will great you when you come home. Overall nice comfortable stay. Thank you!

Relaxing and comfortable

Our first visit to Puerto Rico. This was a great condo to stay at. The location was great for getting to activities. The condo is clean and very comfortable and What Views! You won't beat the views and only hearing waves is relaxing. We never closed the windows. Great Stay!

Wonderful Views & Breezes

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with another couple. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The condo was clean and the property manager Winnie was readily available to address any concerns. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked very well in both bedrooms. The views were amazing and the breeze that flowed through the condo when the windows were open was awesome. Mosquitoes were not a problem. We found a great snorkeling spot a ways down the beach to the left, thanks to Bonnie, the “Rum Cake Lady” who lived a few doors down from the condo. She told us where to find excellent snorkeling and sold us some of her delicious, homemade rum cakes. Her Goldendoodle, Pudpeto (I’m probably spelling that all wrong), greeted us and even gave hugs, every time he saw us :) We highly recommend and would stay here again.

Owner thought of everything

We enjoyed our stay - the owner thought of everything, from placements to beach chairs to well thought-out comments and guides! Super clean and tasteful decor. The only problems we had was loud construction above our unit in early mornings but we were given a partial refund, so that would a nice gesture for the disturbance.

Great stay again

This was our 2nd time here, and this time we brought our moms. Bonus this time: the kitchen was updated, with new cabinets and appliances (including full stove & oven, which has an air fryer, perfect for toasting up fried delicacies from the nearby kiosks). The views and island breezes can't be beat.

PR Heaven!

We had an incredible experience at this property! View was unbeatable and the area was easily accessible to many great beaches and restaurants. Be sure to eat at La Fonda. Best restaurant we had all week. Bonnie the neighbor was kind and welcoming with her sweet pup Pepido and delicious rum cakes. We loved our time here!

Fantastic stay

Everything about this stay was great! Communication with the host was easy, the location was perfect for what we wanted to do on the island, and the condo itself was very clean, had lots of nice upgrades, and was very well appointed. Could not have asked for better location and stay. Even with 2 adults and 4 kids, never felt crowded. Two window AC units in bedrooms would cool the whole place on the days we wanted to escape the heat. 2 bathrooms are a must with everyone scrambling for showers, and the washer and dryer were used way more than anticipated. Everything needed for beach was there...chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers. Bring snorkels...there is a shallow snorkeling location to the left of the condo when facing the ocean. Stopped for walmart grocery pickup on the way from airport. Had all our breakfasts and a few lunches on the patio. Our favorite places to eat (even with picky kids) were Consorte Cuban Cuisine, Pasta y Pueblo, Sonny's Pinchos on the public beach and pretty much any of the kioskos. We parked in free parking behind the kioskos and spent a day half way between kioskos and public beach. Plenty to do within 20-40 min drive. So grateful for neighbor, Bonnie, for coming to the rescue with a toothfairy 2 bill when my son lost his tooth!

This was HEAVEN.

This place is just amazing! The home is lovely with cute furnishings and all new appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms are also very modern and clean! Washer and dryer were so handy, too. The balcony was the best part as I sat out there and just listened to the waves both morning and night. I could hear the waves crashing when I was falling asleep, that’s how close you are to the ocean. The neighbors were so friendly and you are close to everything - restaurants and even a neighborhood Walmart. The property is clean and the pool is nice, too. I found the home so easily and check in was so simple, too. I didn’t need to reach out to management during my stay but I know that wouldn’t have been an issue if I needed to. I would stay here again and again, and if I get the chance next year to come back, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thanks so much for letting me stay in your home and giving me an amazing, relaxing experience.

Lovely Stay!

Great location, excellent views

Clean and well maintained 2 bedroom with unobstructed views of the Atlantic. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony or walking on the beach. Beena was very responsive and easy to reach. Fully equipped with modern appliances and close to food store. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet home.
