"Manuela was an excellent host and her home is beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay, the beautiful views and the lovely breakfast. The drive down to the coast is a bit crazy, but that is to be expected when coming to this part of Italy. We would recommend staying here for a true and authentic experience! "

"Petit parking bien pratique. Chambre et environnement propre. Le seul problème, on a eu du mal à trouver. L’hébergement se trouve en contre bas d’une allée. Il n’ y a pas d’indication, ni de numéro sur le trottoir. De la route, vous hésitez à vous engager."

"We had the best stay ever. This was honestly the best place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve traveled a lot through the years. The hotel is beautiful and close to the port making everything you do easy and convenient. The staff is amazing helping you with anything, scheduling rides, tours, and they have a shuttle if you don’t want to walk to town. The pool is so nice and the beach area so fun swimming and jumping off into the ocean. They also have floats , snorkel stuff and the staff waits on you constantly bringing food , drinks or anything you need. The rooms were awesome with a balcony with a view and the food in the restaurants was also excellent. I will definitely be staying there again. Oh yes I forgot to mention the bed was amazing do comfy."
"I like the beach was clean and beautiful, I don't like the the waitress at the restaurant, they are very pushing, and rude and allways ask about the tip to be in cash, also staff are not friendly at all, I love Capri is a beautiful place."
"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you.
The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat!
The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal.
We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC.
Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists.
Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
"Communication with the hotel was excellent. Always responded promptly. On arrival we were adviced to get the ferry from the Salerno station as an alternative to their private transfers. It was really easy to book and travel on the ferry, just ensure you have atleast 20 minutes between arriving to Salerno and the ferry departure timing. Staff at the hotel are very helpful. I want to especially give a shout out to Rebecca at reception, and Nicholas in the restaurant and also the shuttle drivers. We really loved the hotel but only had 2 nights there so did not use the swimming pool. It did look lovely but we never had time to swim. The breakfast had a good spread."
"Lovely property! However, there were just 2 (albeit important) items that were inconvenient. The first is the lack of on-site parking and/or valet. We had a car rental and had to park the car in a lot which the hotel claims is 5 min walk away. It’s more like 10-15 min and not an easy walk. Not something I prefer to do when checking into a hotel. The other inconvenient thing was the noisy doors! They made so much noise that they’d wake you up with a loud bang very early in the morning. They seem like the original doors to the building from years ago. They’re old and need updating. Beyond this, the hotel is very charming and super clean. Rooms are huge."
"Gorgeous waterfront views, cool docks for tanning and swimming. The tv in Our room had only a couple of English speaking channels and no internet tv. Additionally the thermostat was difficult to work and kept going back to the default temp- also very small awkward view of only the pool"
"Lovely views, great balcony spaces, and friendly staff who made our stay here effortless. Breakfast is worth the extra charge; it was the largest buffet selection we experienced on our trip. It was enjoyable to be higher up in the city as it was quieter. Would recommend walking uphill from the hotel to experience more local shops and grocery stores. To maintain your sanity, DO NOT walk yourself and your suitcase to the hotel. Pay the porters. Or, if you must, take the road, not the stairs."
"Amazing hotel! Would definitely visit again. We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious and included a big balcony looking over the water. We watched the sunset from our balcony every night. Very comfortable bed and great shower. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar, as well as the regular bar (drinks only - we didn't eat onsite). Employees were all very friendly! The only downside was the beach club that the hotel partners with was not open when we were there (late May). But the Marameo Beach Club is right at the base of the hotel and is a great alternative. Hotel location was great - very walkable to many shops and restaurants. Overall 10/10."
